Hotel Ideal

the location was a little further down the road (probably the last hotel on that street). If you were to drive there, beware you have to drive through Sirmione (which have very small street and lotta people walking on them who doenst want to move out of your way). Breakfast was great and I have a very pleasant stay there.

I dont even know how many years ago we came here for the first time and since then we spend a week here every july. And we will be coming again and again. Our best choice for garda lake. It always feels like coming back home and this feeling worth lots.

The moment we arrived in Hotel Ideal we were greeted by friendly staff in fact the whole duration of our holiday everyone was so lovely from the reception staff, to bar and restaurant and house keeping. The hotel itself was fantastic the pool was gorgeous and set in an olive garden which was great for our 2 year old as it meant she had a bit more freedom even though she was a tinker at times. The view in the garden over looked the lake which was stunning. Jamaica beach was a 5 minute walk which was fantastic and very convenient. Right out side the hotel is a train which takes you to Sirmione however it only takes 5/10 minutes to walk. Breakfast was great and offered a variety of choices. On our last day we were given a complimentary room as we had a night flight which was so helpful especially with a 2 year old. We had an absolutely fantastic holiday and a huge part of that was because we had such a lovely friendly hotel. I would 100% stay here again and would definitely recommend to friends and family. I give it 10/10. Thank you again 🥰

Wonderful Dinner & Excellent Service from Pier We had an amazing dinner at Hotel Ideal in Sirmione. The setting was beautiful, right by the lake, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Our waiter, Pier, was truly the highlight of the evening. He was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive — always with a smile and the perfect timing. He made great recommendations and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down.

A group of us stayed overnight at Hotel Ideal. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We had never been to Sirmione and did not quite understand the logistics of getting to the hotel. I knew it was possible to drive to the hotel and it would be challenging navigating the crowded historical center. But some of the drivers found it overwhelming especially the younger ones driving a standard stick car. We had rental cars that needed to be returned after dropping off the luggage. In the end, we did not drive up to the hotel but dragged our luggage up - about a 10 minute walk. It was not horrible but not the way we expected to arrive - hot and bothered. It would be great if the hotel offered a golf cart shuttle or something similar. There is a shuttle for the general public that does a up and down route to the tip of the island and we saw other hotel shuttles. Once we arrived we found the location very nice and quiet. Great views and outdoor sitting areas. We walked down to the centre of town for dinner. Fun place to have dinner, get some gifts and have a look at the castle. I imagine in the middle of the summer, the place is jam packed. The breakfast buffet was fine, typical selections available. The rooms were large, clean and had terraces either overlooking the water or the ruins. The other negative thing about the hotel other than the walk to get there is the beds are very hard, thin pillows and no blankets, only a sheet and the bed cover. I assume if you call they will bring extra bedding but as we only stayed one night, we managed. So overall I thought this was a good hotel if you want to be very close to the centre of town but also be able to have some peace and quiet around a pool or enjoying the lake view. It would be great if the logistics of getting to the hotel were made more clear and if they upgraded their beds and bedding.
