Hotel Flaminia

I stayed at the Hotel Flaminia in Lago di Garda on July 12, 2025, with a couple of friends. We made two identical reservations, paying the same price, but our experiences were completely different. They received a renovated, clean and modern room, and we were assigned to an old, run-down room, with a heavy and unpleasant smell, especially from the bathroom. The room was visibly unkempt and below any standard for a 4-star hotel. We went to the reception and explained the situation, asking for at least a room of a similar level to our friends. The answer was completely devoid of empathy: we were told that they “received a superior room” and that if we wanted equality, they could be moved to a bad room like ours, but under no circumstances should we be moved to a better one. It is completely unacceptable that two rooms booked and paid for at the same rate should be treated so differently. It seems that the hotel assigns rooms randomly or at will, with no respect for the customer or fairness. The reception staff were arrogant, inflexible and unprofessional. We felt no desire to help or improve our experience, on the contrary - we were treated like second-class customers, even though we paid exactly the same. We leave with a bitter taste and will not return. Hotel Flaminia does not deliver the quality or service it promises. I do not recommend it.

Very rude and unprofessional staff . Lack basic respect and courtesy. Right from the manager to waiters all the same leaving 2 /3 staff . Except the new renewed rooms ,other rooms not worth it at all . Staff lacks customer service skills, the worst experience.

We stayed for 4 nights this being our second stay. We stayed in a Jacuzzi room, the room itself is nothing special its ok, the beds comfy, not much wardrobe space a small TV with no English channels. The bathroom has a shower and again its ok, what I will say is the towels and dressing gowns were lovely and fluffy really good. The best bit of the room is the outside patio with the outside Jacuzzi its somewhere private to relax on a hot afternoon its has 2 loungers a canopy and 2 chairs, Great The breakfast is buffet type and its very good, plenty of choice and the quality is good, it also has seating outside if the weathers good. There is loungers on the decking over the lake if you don't have your own patio. It also has some comfy seating to sit and have a drink on a evening. We only had a pizza on the first day which was very good but didn't eat there again as there's so much choice in Sirminone to eat out, so we can't really comment on the restaurants. The location is great the hotels good and we would definitely stay again if in Sirmione.
