Comfort Inn Sioux City South

The room was clean and fresh. The bathroom was also very clean. The hallway carpeting was a bit dingy looking and is near and end to its life. Front desk staff was very friendly and check in and out was easy. We will stay here again.

Greeted by a very pleasant receptionist on arrival, who changed our room on request, to a ground floor room #124 as there was no elevator and we had a lot of luggage. We had a room with a king size bed, it was clean and looked recently renovated. The room had a layout we like with 4 areas. A bathroom with a jacuzzi and a sink to wash hands. A kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and another sink to wash dishes. Seating area with a sofa, 2 armchairs, a table and 2 chairs. A king size bed, the TV was fixed higher up on wall for easier viewing. The room had all the amenities as listed and the blinds worked by a remote control. The bed and pillows were comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was similar to what you find in most hotels and it did have some hot food. There were some restaurants close by and a supermarket a short drive away. Having seen some previous reviews we thought the worse but this hotel, was much better than described and was one of the better ones on our trip and if we return to the area we would certainly book this hotel.

I booked for 3 nights at the hotel as my son and I traveled 17hrs. They charged me 150 up front sec dep. Hallway smelled of smoke. Never returned my sec dep because I spilled a bit of coffee. Really!!? How much does it cost to wash a few sheets? Very unhappy.

This place was perfect. Friendly staff, made you feel welcomed. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful in finding a place to have supper close to the hotel. Breakfast was had good selection. Would highly recommend.

Conveniently located. Clean room. Carpet in corridor looked as if it could use a cleaning/replacement. Restaurants nearby. Front desk staff friendly and efficient. Free hot breakfast very good and plentiful. The side door did not click shut so you could actually pull it open without using your hotel card 🫤

Pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to the room. Totally renovated. Comfortable beds, lovely linens and clean without and smells! Check in was easy with efficient staff. All this for a very reasonable price.
