Zware teleurstelling! Stuntelig onervaren personeel. 45 minuten wachten op aperitief, in die tijd kwamen 3 verschillende obers vragen of de bestelling reeds opgenomen was ?????? Terug 45' wachten voor een simpel en matig lunchmenu. Ook nog rekening van een andere tafel gekregen, enfin, totale chaos. Het uitzicht is het enige positieve...Nooit zet ik daar nog een voet binnen!

Groot familie feest aan de Leie; Super lekkere tapas aan onze grote tafel. Zeebaars, tonijnsteak met pasta en heerlijke witte Sauvigon Blanc Cape of Good Hope. Vlotte bediening en ambiance troef. Heel veel volk tot aan de Leie. Alles puur & heerlijk.

Op doorreis naar de kust hebben we hier 1 nacht verbleven, om een event bij te wonen in de buurt. Aangenaam hotel. Ontvangt correct, maar niet meer dan dat. Kamer is aan de kleine kant, maar we behoefden niet meer. Zeer goed bed, raam tot op de grond met (overheen een plat dak) zicht op Leie en velden, kleine badkamer met aangename douche, perfect zo. Het ontbijt was geweldig, zeer uitbreidde keuze, gerookte zalm, vele soorten kaas en charcuterie, eitjes, pannenkoekjes, fruit, joghurt, zoet beleg, diverse soorten brood, koffiekoekjes, …. Alles heel lekker en vers, en dat op een maandagochtend. Wij voelden ons in de watten gelegd. Prijs is eerlijk en we zouden bij gelegenheid hier graag opnieuw overnachten. Ook de laadpaal was vrij.

Deze middag gingen we eten met vijf personen op een zaterdag middag ( het was totaal niet druk ) , we bestelden 4 glazen champagne en 1 alcoholvrij drankje. Na 30min nog altijd geen drank gekregen , we spraken het personeel hierover aan en daarna kregen we de 4 glazen champagne maar nog zonder het alcoholvrije drankje ! Nog eens 20 min wachten …. Om ons dan te laten weten dat ze niet de juiste ingrediënten hadden om de mocktail te maken. Na dit was de bediening nog eens zeer onprofessioneel , er was totaal geen organisatie! Personeel die 2/3 keer kwam vragen of de aperitief al was opgenomen , personeel die vragend naar anderen keken omdat ze totaal niet wisten welke bestellingen voor wie waren en ook nog eens met stuntelige jobstudenten die er niets van kenden ! Ik vroeg mij een cola , deze werd gebracht door een jobstudent , de cola stond te dansen op zijn plateau met als gevolg …. Mijn kleren onder de cola ! Auberge du pecheur was het van het , maar heeft volledig zijn authenticiteit en charme verloren , direct eerste en laatste keer !

Heel spijtig om te moeten vaststellen dat deze ooit prachtige zaak een vergane glorie is geworden. De ligging is super mooi maar wordt teniet gedaan door een onervaren bediening (alleen maar jobstudenten) en zeer dure prijzen. Ik wil gerust wat meer betalen als de kwaliteit er naar is, maar dat is hier absoluut het geval niet!

If there would ever be a hotel horror movie made in Belgium 🇧🇪 and the director is looking for the main actor the hotel owner Brice would be the perfect fit for the main character:charming at the beggining ,aggresive,arrogant rude and verbally abusive towards his own paying costumers We booked the hotel for a room with a 8 months old baby 👶 boy informing them ahead on the booking .They forgot about it and gave us the noisiest room on the first floor Before you make your reservation pls note the walls are made of thin paper and you can hear absolutely everything from the other room .EVERYTHING The first night we slept next to an extremely noisy room it was a wedding party and they moved us to a different one which was beautiful and quiet.The reception lady said she will do her very best to keep us in that room because we had so much luggage + the baby . The next day she calls angrily saying that if we don’t leave the room before 2 pm because of another wheelchair person who is moving before 3 pm she will make sure my stuff is being removed from the room and threatened to put us our of the hotel Had to drive back with the baby alone and pack everything super fast because they want us to move AGAIN for the 2 nd time in 2 days to a different room where obviously they mentioned at the end we have to pay (we have 5 days left) At 2.10 pm the owner comes in a rage at the room and starts screaming in front of my baby:The roomie a mess,you finish packing now or we will throw all your stuff outside .He sees we are in distress with the baby and continues his verbal abuse pinpointing that I have a husband where is he to help? In my 14 years of a frequent hotelier I have never seen such an arrogant and violent behaviour. But then I remember I’m not in Dubai where he probably would have been taken accountable legally for his ruthless behaviour .Zero empathy & humanity but yes money greedy as he is moving us to another room but wants extra cash and does nothing for the inconvenience caused. Consequences:My baby who’s never heard a raised voice in 8 months since he is born started crying uncontrollably and vomited 🤮 2 times because of the distress and the negative energy The only star I give goes to the cleaning lady who has a golden heart and helped us remove everything from the room got emotional seing him crying and and tried to make him happy again. If the owner is so abusive towards the clients I cannot imagine what the staff has to put up with him on a daily basis . If you are looking for costumer service , empathy, human warmth & some level of curtoasy please 🙏🏽 forget about the auberge de Pêcheur because you will end up feeling sick and sad 🤢 just like me and my baby,while you are paying for it

vorige week zondagmiddag in familiekring gaan eten rond de middag... méér dan 20 minuten gewacht op drank, eten koud geserveerd door onervaren jobstudenten in vuile witte polo's, verschillende malen verkeerde of niet bestelde dranken gekregen "chaos" alom... drank onwaarschijnlijk duur en de stoelen zijn ook dringend aan vervanging toe buiten. Mariage se déroulent du samedi midi au dimanche début d’après midi. Réception, dîner, soirée dansante et brunch le dimanche. Un sans fautes, vraiment. Service et organisation impeccable. Je recommande vivement cet établissement pour toute événement d’ampleur. (215 personnes à table.. )

Très bel endroit proche de Gand mais avec un dépaysement total en pleine verdure. La restauration est de qualité. Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées. Le personnel est charmant et accueillant. J’y retournerai lors de mes prochains déplacements a Gand.
