Was only here for 1 night in transit but facilities and quality of hotel was good. Anoldo was very welcoming on arrival!

Thank you to the staff who are wonderful. Everyone from the restaurant staff to the front desk, especially, Janice, Chantel, Nicholas, Deborah, and Dean took the very best care of us. I wold def recommend.

Our stay at the JW was nothing short of amazing, thanks to the incredible team. Arnoldo, the general manager, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even shared the best local spots to visit on the island—his hospitality truly made our trip unforgettable. A big thank you to Marla for the delicious welcome drinks and for thoughtfully arranging all of our activities—it set the perfect tone for our vacation. And to Juan, thank you for your kindness and attentive service throughout our stay. This hotel truly feels like the Ritz-Carlton of the island—beautiful, spotless, and with service that exceeds expectations. Our room was stunning, and every detail was perfect for celebrating my husband’s birthday. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found the property to be modern and clean, with spacious rooms and beautiful pools. However, my experience at the main restaurant was disappointing. The pasta with lobster pastry tasted like it had been pre-cooked, and the lobster was overcooked. The fried calamari was chewy and oily, and the lime wedges appeared to be a few days old. The final straw was when I asked for hot sauce and found black mold inside the bottle and then I stoped eating. Despite trying to stay positive, I felt that the food fell short of JW standards. Given the empty restaurant, I'm not surprised. In my opinion, the chef could benefit from visiting top-rated restaurants like Big Fish, which serves exceptional, high-quality dishes with beautiful presentation and amazing service. I highly recommend Big Fish and think it would be beneficial for the hotel's culinary team to explore their offerings. I think the pool staff might want to reconsider their belt choice. The branded belt they're wearing doesn't seem to fit in with the pool area's aesthetic. Maybe a more casual or neutral option would work better? On a more positive note, the yoga sessions with Don Yogi were fantastic. He provided a great experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed practicing yoga with him every morning.

The pool and pool bar was the best experience! The drinks were so good … fruity and not to strong. The food was amazing and Keith was awesome! Great food and customer service.

Jenna is awesome. We worked out with her every morning. What a great way to start the day! The resort and staff are top notch.
