The location was great! The hotel is ideally situated for tourists wanting to use the local transportation. The MRT is a few doors down & the location for the Hop On Off Bus is just at the corner. The rooms themselves are on the smaller size but well worth the trade off for location & price!

The location of the hotel was good (right next to an MRT station).
The room was very small and noisy, however.
We didn't like the breakfast (in the shop to the left of the hotel): There weren't enough places for too many people and unfortunately it wasn't refilled.
The hotel staff seemed to be aware of the problem, as they immediately moved us and other guests to another breakfast place after we complained.
We would recommend the hotel to people who only need somewhere to sleep and can cope with few amenities.
The price-performance ratio is not good in our opinion, however.

All the hotel staff were very kind (I was very grateful for the help they gave me, such as lending me scissors, helping me make phone calls, carrying my luggage to my room and helping me enter my internet password, etc.)
I also had breakfast at the restaurant next door, and although the selection was not that great, I was able to eat as much as I wanted, which was enough for me and I was very satisfied. (I did think that it would be better if they had plates with small separators like they do in Japan so the side dishes don't get mixed up.)
I thought it would be even more convenient if they provided face towels in addition to bath towels.
It's right next to the Bencoolen MRT station, so it's in a very convenient location when you want to go out here and there.
