I saw this hotel when I went to Singapore 11 years ago. It is an old hotel. It should be the one closer to Universal Studios on the island. The lobby is not easy to find. It was a wonderful stay, but it feels subordinate to Hotel Ora with a proper lobby. It would be better if it had aircon in its lobby.

I was impressed with the spacious room that I was upgraded to! The front desk staff was also very kind and explained the services, such as transportation around the island, to me. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that the water was lukewarm. I was also happy that TWG had BACHA coffee as a complimentary item.

Hotel Michael is one of the several hotels within the resort. They are all walking distance from each other and from Universal Studios. This tends to be the cheapest among the other Resorts World.
We had dinner outside the hotel since we didn’t fancy the cuisines offered by the restaurants at the hotel.
I encountered some problems when booking directly on their website, so I ended up booking through Trip. This was the easiest. Fortunately, this concern got us complimentary breakfast. The location for the hotel breakfast was not the most convenient—from Hotel Michael you have to walk towards the other hotel, Hotel Ora.
Other than that, the hospitable staff makes up for it.

The waiting time to check in was a little long, but checkout was quick and smooth. Complimentary breakfast was at a different hotel connected to Hotel Michael, but a bit of a walk. Very close to USS and the Sentosa beaches are within walking distance.
