Amara Singapore - Newly Renovated

The service is totally unworthy of the title of a five-star hotel When I checked in, I was told that there was something wrong with the room. The manager said that I could be upgraded for one day and then changed back the next day. I have stayed in so many hotels, but this is the first time I was told that the upgrade was only for one day and I had to change rooms repeatedly. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and told the manager that I was on a business trip and didn't have time to change rooms repeatedly, the manager told me that I could change rooms when I had free time and there was no need to rush. Or I could change rooms after staying for another day, but I had to change rooms (super speechless) The next day I went back to the hotel and tried to swipe my card, but I found that I could not enter the room with my room card. The front desk told me that there was something wrong with the room card. I had to change rooms again. The thoughtful attitude of "changing rooms at any time" the day before was completely gone. As "compensation", I was told that I could check out at 3pm. On the third day, when I called the front desk to confirm the check-out time, I was told that the room had been booked and I could not check out later. I was speechless. As a five-star hotel, problems occur every day. It is very unfriendly for business travel. The apology was neither sincere nor heartfelt. I will never stay here next time.

I had a terrible experience staying at this hotel, the photos show a beautiful 5-star hotel, but in fact, from the moment of registration it was clear that there were 4 stars at most and they really had to try to give them that. The queue for breakfast started from the elevator itself and you could stand there for 40 minutes, on the first day we thought it was because we arrived late. The next day we got up early for breakfast and there was an even longer queue. And this happened 4 days in a row. The pool is not taken care of at all, the area around it is dirty, everything is unkempt, broken, the toilets are dirty, I didn’t want to spend time there at all, the bar by the pool is not working. The most amazing thing is that our room was not cleaned the next day. And then this was repeated every day. We had to go to the reception and express dissatisfaction, only then they cleaned it: debt.

Convenient location with many restaurants and vendors around

The hotel is very new and the environment is very good. There is a small shopping mall next to it, which is very convenient. The location is good and it is also very convenient to travel. The service is also great and I am very satisfied with my stay. 🎉
