This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, it was very much below expectations and I ended up having to check out soon after I arrived. The room was very dirty and poorly maintained, there was a strong sewage smell in the bathroom and in the room it smelled like mold and chemicals, and I believe it is incredibly unsafe for anyone to sleep in this type of environment, especially if you have allergies or other conditions. There were also some bugs and mold on the walls. The staff were unfortunately unable to find me another room, and refused to even help me get a refund and were quite rude to me when I simply asked for a clean room. But after I contacted Trip they graciously allowed me to checkout even if they couldn’t give me a refund since the hotel did not respond to their contact, I’m glad Trip was able to help me out and the issue was resolved.
I really hope this hotel can take my review into consideration into how they can improve, it is in a good central location so there is potential, if the rooms were renovated and cleaned it can easily become a better option. I also hope the staff can try to be kinder and more welcoming to guests, as many are coming to Singapore for the first time and a good first impression is always important for a tourism hub.
