Reason for Recommendation 1: Bus No. 36 from Changi Airport goes directly to the hotel, just 50 meters away, making it very convenient (Figure 1). The location is close to many attractions. From the window, you can see the Merlion Park Ferris wheel (Figure 2). It's right next to Chijmes Square and close to Bugis, Chinatown, and Clarke Quay.
Recommendation 2: No deposit was required upon check-in. During my three-day stay, 90% of the people I met were Chinese. There was a Chinese-speaking front desk, and the cleaning lady spoke Chinese. Luggage storage is available.
Recommendation 3: Excellent service. A special thank you to the room service staff who gave me an extra blanket on the 5th!
Recommendation 4: The amenities were good. My friend mentioned the bathtub was a British brand, which I hadn't noticed.

Recommended: The location is truly convenient, on a classic route and close to the MRT exit. Fort Canning Park is only about 10 minutes away, making it a very convenient starting and ending point for the City Walk.
Value for money: The best value for just over 1,000.
Since Singapore is so expensive, we only stayed for one night. We had just visited Japan last year and had already toured the World Trade Center. Since our children are not yet babies, we didn't consider the Botanical Gardens or the Zoo. Our itinerary encompassed Sentosa, Gardens by the Bay, the City Walk, and Changi Airport. It was both economical and effortless!
The Queens Hotel is a bit old, and while the facilities are dated, it had everything we needed. Our room smelled strongly of paint. Since it was past 10 AM and we needed to sleep, we didn't try to change rooms. When we checked in, there were only twin beds available, but they can be moved together to sleep three people.
There was no kettle, so we had to get water from the ice dispenser in the hallway. This is a bit mean. A big shout-out to the Chinese: Chinese people love hot water!
