Although the property is a bit older, it retains the charm of a traditional luxury hotel with expansive grounds, a sense of grandeur, and a truly upscale atmosphere. The room was clean and spacious, and the quality of amenities such as the bathrobe and slippers was excellent. Plenty of bottled water was provided in the room, and even more could be requested for free if needed.
The afternoon tea was absolutely outstanding. It featured delicious local savory items and traditional local desserts, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Although the set is usually for two people, once the staff realized I was alone, they adjusted both the portion and the price accordingly. I also ordered an additional coffee, which was very good.
The service was excellent throughout, and the tableware and overall ambiance added to the refined experience.

Best family hotel in town.
Lots of children activities, indoor playground and even a baking studio.
Staff are welcoming and helpful, the rooms and public area is clean, food options are great.
Overall, everything in Shangri-La Singapore is world class.
