The first and last to this hotel, check in on 28/01/25 and check out on 30/01/25.
Terrible experience for my CNY. Check-in on the 28/01/25 eve of CNY, was ask to pay $200 deposit for 2 rooms and I reply go head. I told them I got lunch buffet at the estate for 6 pax. So they reply will hold higher deposit that will be $850 since I got booking for the lunch with them, I reply go ahead. On the 29/01/25 after the lunch buffet. I told the counter charge to room and he say oh u staying here, he say ok, ask me leave down my name, room number and signature. N after that I proceed to room. 5 minutes later, one of the staff came knocking the room and ask me to pay $1208 now. I told her the hotel already charge me higher deposit cause they know I’m having lunch at their hotel. N why suddenly come to room and chase me for the money??? And is first day of CNY, sound like I’m owing them money and I’m gonna runaway?? In the first place, if the lunch cannot charge to room why ask for $850 deposit? If can’t charge to room, when I’m done with my lunch you can just ask us to pay now. the staff sound so rude n loud over the phone at my room and say cannot charge to room!!!! Too many Terrible experiences in the hotel, the 2nd bad experience is the lounge club also terrible service. The third will be during check out at their room, my sister was push by a guy at their lobby counter . Their service definitely lousy then Shangri-la orchard . Shangri-la orchard lounge club have the best service, best staffs.
