A Hotel Chinatown, Newly Renovated

The location is very good, as it is about a 5-minute walk to the station, Chinatown, and Maxwell Hawker, and all the staff were very friendly. The room was clean, and even though I had a room without a window, I didn't feel closed in. However, I think the MRT runs below the hotel, because I could hear the trains passing by in my room on the first floor, even though it wasn't that big. This may be a negative for people who are sensitive to noise.

I personally feel that this hotel is a black shop. Because I was in a hurry to go out, I booked this hotel. (There are no reviews about this hotel on Ctrip. I can't see any valuable comments. I seriously suspect that Ctrip has deleted the relevant bad reviews) 1. The appearance of the hotel does not match the Ctrip pictures. The location is also noisy. There is a bar and an Indian temple downstairs. The temple is full of Indians worshiping every morning and playing music. The room is not soundproof. 2. The room is dirty, small and smelly. The bathroom can only put a toilet. The shower is against the toilet. There is no place to put toilet paper, so you can only flush it down the toilet. The cleaning demand sign is also a simple fool. Unless it is clearly stated that the toiletries and slippers need to be replaced, it will not be taken care of at all. 3. There are two ** at the front desk who are very cunning and lazy. When I came back at night and told him that there was no shampoo in the room, the ** said that the cleaning staff had gone off work and they couldn't get the key, so it was none of his business whether you washed your hair or not. 4. A deposit of 50 SGD was collected when you entered the store. When we checked in, the ** collected the deposit but didn't issue a receipt. Today when we checked out, another ** asked for a receipt. We definitely had to argue with him, and found the registration information of the ** at that time, and it turned out that 50 SGD was crossed out, which meant that no room deposit was collected. The ** who checked out called the ** who checked in to ask if this happened. After hanging up the phone and checking out, the ** looked very angry and thought we were talking nonsense, saying that the ** who checked in didn't collect the deposit. We asked for surveillance, but the ** kept avoiding the topic. Later, a Chinese lady at the front desk assisted in retrieving the surveillance, and saw that the ** who checked in at that time put the money into his own pocket, and didn't issue a deposit receipt. When we checked out in front of the surveillance, the ** reluctantly returned the 50 SGD deposit to us. From the time we checked out to the time we adjusted the surveillance, the ** kept talking. Singapore is an orderly, clean, civilized and law-abiding country. Ah San's shameless behavior has brought shame to this country. No wonder so many people dislike Ah San. Ctrip is also responsible for listing this hotel, and the commission it charges must be high. It is a deception for the Chinese people.
