At that time the area was a hotbed of secret societies - underground activity and liquor distilleries. Today while much of that history has disappeared one building is being meticulously restored as a modern 37-room boutique hotel focusing on heritage and local culture.

Very Zen style hotel, with high class gadgets provide, like the B&O Bluetooth speaker and Ashley & Co shampoo/lotion etc. the room feels very homey and the cleanliness is of the highest standard indeed. Will choose this hotel everytime trafel to SG

The hotel lobby is quite unique and the surrounding transportation is convenient. However, the rooms are average and the design of the bathroom can be optimized. The bathtub and shower area are together and the floor drain is slow. The bath towels are a bit off-line and look a bit old. I hope the hotel will update the items in time.
