This was the most satisfying hotel on my trip to Singapore! I stayed at the Shangri-La next door a few days ago, but honestly, I think this one offers better value and better amenities!
Amenities: The room is very modern, and the toilet has a Washlet, which is a real plus.
Cleanliness: Cleaned twice daily, it was spotless.
Environment: The lobby smells amazing upon entering, and the room was brand new.
Service: Excellent. They even decorated my room and upgraded it to a stunning terrace, noting I was on my honeymoon. I've already recommended this to a friend, and I'm sure they'll upgrade me next time. I'll definitely be back!

The room is quite big for downtown Singapore, and there are Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk every day. The service is very thoughtful. The hotel also has a concierge car that can provide free pick-up and drop-off service within 1.5 kilometers, which is very considerate. The swimming pool is relatively small, on the roof, with a depth of only 1.2m. The water quality is average and not very clear, but everything else is good.

Service was wonderful. Had the room beautifully decorated for my 10th anniversary which was a nice touch. Enjoyed the complimentary limousine to nearby places. Infinity pool on the roof top was gorgeous with nice views of the surroundings. Room was nicely decorated and there was evening turn down service, self service complimentary coffee and tea set in the room with the tea bags and coffee replenished. Couple of areas of improvement - the sofa in the room had a permanent unsightly stain on its fabric. Room on level 8 was facing the construction site where the old Tanglin shopping centre used to be. The piling work was quite noisy in the afternoon and the balcony was rather dusty and not very usable due to dust facing the construction site.

Overall, I was quite satisfied. The air conditioner in the room was very noisy. It would make noises every once in a while. I stayed alone, and I really liked the design of the room. It was very large and spacious, and there was a balcony outside. I checked in after 3 o'clock, which was a bit unpleasant, but the front desk gave me a complimentary drink, so I stayed by the rooftop pool for one night. The breakfast was average.
