Conrad Hotels & Resorts Properties in Singapore

The room was very clean, and the staff were all quite friendly. I hesitated for a long time before booking, as I saw reviews saying that Singapore's facilities were old and the service wasn't good. After actually checking in, I felt everything was pretty good. I specifically requested a quiet room when booking. The room was exactly like in the photos. The air conditioning vent made a bit of a noise, just the sound of air coming out, but honestly, after being tired from exploring all day, it didn't affect my sleep. The room door wasn't soundproof, and I could hear doors closing outside, but that only happened occasionally, so it wasn't noisy. The shower had great water pressure, and the hairdryer, though old-fashioned, was powerful. Every day, they provided five bottles of purified water, six coffee capsules, and tea bags, and even a complimentary pack of cookies, which was a nice touch. Suntec City is right across the street; you just go through an underpass to get there. There are all sorts of food options, and it's convenient and sheltered from the sun. The subway station is only about 50 meters away, making getting around very easy.

The hotel's location is pretty good. While it's not directly on Orchard Road, it's not far either, offering a nice balance of peace and quiet away from the hustle. I originally booked the Grand Hyatt for its more convenient location, but since we weren't in a rush to stick to a tight schedule, we switched to this hotel, and I feel like it was the right choice! **Facilities:** You can tell the hotel has some age to it, but the overall facilities are well-maintained, and the in-room amenities have been renovated. It's quite comfortable overall. **Cleanliness:** Standard level. **Service:** Overall, it's okay. Most of the staff are enthusiastic, though the front desk seemed a bit cool. We didn't add breakfast; we ate at the cafe for a few days, and the food was delicious. The bread and sandwiches were freshly made. Unfortunately, during our stay, the outdoor seating was closed for renovations. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. We relaxed for a few days and then went to enjoy our Disney cruise!
