We had a wonderful stay. Our request for a ground floor sea facing unit was accommodated. On arrival we had a special welcome note from the management of Simola with a complementary bottle of wine. The staff are so amazing and super friendly this goes from reception right through to the security. They made us feel so welcome. Will definitely be back and would recommend this stay to anyone.

It was an excellent stay, very quiet and romantic location with stunning views over knysna city and the breakfast was mix variety of traditional in a wonderful atmosphere. Need to give more attention to room service and cleaning Put over all it was fantastic

On our first arrival we were three. And he was attentive,knowledgeable and friendly with us. He gave us all the options that was aligning to the taste we wanted to have for the evening. He made sure the food was on time and kept coming to clear our table and providing the necessary things before we could ask. He seemed to be a reader nd watcher from a above. Codwil he said his name was. We would take him anywhere we dine.

Absolutely unique location, situated on the mountains above Knysna, you will find a world class 5 star establishment that caters for your every need. The staff are well trained, extremely friendly and knowledgeable, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel offers excellent cuisine and bar area with magnificent views down to the Heads at Knysna. The Simola 18 hole golf course is world class, challenging and in the most spectacular condition, a must play! The hotel boasts a large gym, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, sauna and recently built Padel courts. Well appointed Spa and treatment rooms. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and we return for two weeks every year

We stayed three nights in this hotel. The rooms/suites were stunning. We had a lovely view however some suites do not have a view. Check-in was slick however on all 3 days a large number of our group had to have their room key revalidated daily as for whatever reason they would never work after we got back from breakfast requiring us to return to reception each time. Bed was super comfortable, AC worked well and internet was good these were trulyluxurioussuites with fully fittedkitchens. Staff were very friendly and made every effort to make us so welcome. Food was very good. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

As a fishermen and non golfer I won the weekend in a local competition. My Initial thoughts was, What am I going to do with this price. I decided as a person that never played golf before I am going to use this weekend to find out what golf is about. The accommadation was perfect, The golf couse was really nice. The only thing that was bad the weekend was my abillity to play golf. Probably will stick to fishing. But for anyone that like golf Simola is well worth the trip. Thank you Simola for giving me the oppertunity to experience your piece of paradise.
