Our aim is to combine modernity with tradition in a sustainable way and to live hospitality for young and old. The Bergschlösschen is a 3-star superior hotel and restaurant, located on the outskirts of Simmern (500 m from the center). Family-owned for over 125 years, it is run by Claudia Hubert and Michael Böhme.
The hotel is held in high esteem as a temporary home for business travelers, holidaymakers, hikers, cyclists and bikers. The restaurant is popular and well known for atmospheric events, family celebrations, company events and conferences.
Very comfortable and modernly furnished feel-good rooms await you, 12 of which have a large balcony. Enjoy a wonderful, unobstructed view of the enchanting Hunsrück landscape. The hotel room level on the 1st and 2nd floor as well as the restaurant on the first floor can be easily reached by elevator.

In Ordnung
Das Hotel liegt sehr schön am Stadtrand. Das Zimmer war großzügig und sauber. Die Ausstattung ist teils etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber durchweg in Ordnung.
Leider war der Service nicht so ansprechend; bspw. kam es sowohl bei Check-In als auch Check-Out zu Wartezeiten (weil niemand da war).

Enjoyable stay
One night stay at the hotel before a flight. Check in was quick and easy, room was perfect for my needs. Breakfast was fine and check out was again quick and easy.
Hotel is only a few minutes walk from the town. It's also located right beside the old rail trail which has been converted into a walking / cycling path.

Nice view, very nice place if the weather is OK, so tha you can make use of one of he many terasses, or the Biergarden. Food is excellent, room was very decent, nice balcony.
All in all a very pleasant experience.

Es war ein sehr schönes Hotel,sehr sauber,freundliches Personal Frühstück war auch sehr ausreichend und im Restaurant konnte man auch sehr gut speisen.Sehr empfehlenswert!Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen
