Residence Inn Silver Spring

I booked a block of rooms for our high school's 50th reunion. Everyone who stayed at The Residence Inn Silver Spring were enthusiastic about the accommodations and the staff. People loved how comfortable the rooms were and the pool was a hit during this heat wave. The location was ideal as well with restaurants and shopping close. Thank you for making this so easy to book and making us feel welcome. We will certainly recommend your establishment to other classes as they prepare for their reunions and to all of my friends.

4 night stay… Internet hasn’t worked for the whole time. Manager gives me the tech support number so I can spend a few hours on my vacation talking to tech support in Bangalore. He is too busy apparently. Will not recommend this hotel because of their total indifference to the paying guest. Sour face on every employee and no service customer service..except the lovely gentleman responsible for breakfasts that goes above and beyond…starting with the most basic requirement in a service profession.. a smile. There are less expensive options in the area that I will use the next time.

You may only think of this hotel to visit nearby family or friends, or if you have business close by. It is, though, also a great place to stop if traveling up or down I-95. It is far enough from the highway to feel quiet and to hear birds - and there are some pleasant walks around it (try the lake behind the Adventist Hospital). It is located a very easy walking distance to both a Target and a Giant, and every hotel room has a kitchen. There are also a number of restaurants close by, and a gas station across the street. The management clearly takes pride in running this hotel. It is clean and the breakfasts are good. The parking is free and all around the hotel. As always I do recommend traveling with a background noise maker, in case you have people talking loudly in neighboring rooms - with my noisemaker, I slept very well here. You can choose a studio suite (my recommendation if you’re alone) or a 1BR or even a 2BR apartment, so great room options for families. Overall, this Marriott is a really good choice if traveling to this area or if needing a stop while on I-95.

The point of a Residence Inn is the extra facilities, and this one delivers exactly as expected. Space was a big deal here. Rooms are big. Breakfast area is a good size. nice pool area and court. This hotel just has a little more of everything. Staff was also always pleasant and helpful. I'd come back.

This hotel was amazing. Deserves 10 stars!! The staff was very friendly. The room is very spacious, and had a dishwasher, FULL-size fridge, a stove, and stocked cabinets and drawers so you can cook. The RR was large and stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower which smelled awesome. You actually get a real hot breakfast here, not just a waffle. We stayed two nights and over the two days had choices of freshly prepared frittatas, souffles, ham and cheese croissants, sausage biscuits, breakfast burritos and so much more! It was all delicious! Fresh coffee and juices, among other breakfast choices and fruits. There is a laundry and exercise room and a pool. It was very clean and peaceful. It is about 12 miles from DC and in a nice area. There is a shopping plaza across the street so you can grab some groceries. Not a single complaint about this stay. By far the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in and we were so impressed. We will be staying here again!

I have been going to the hotels in the Marriott chain for years because of their consistent standards of cleanliness, friendliness, and reasonable pricing. This Residence Inn fit the bill for one night. Even though it wasn't a one bedroom, it was a very large studio. I had a good night's sleep and a good breakfast, then continued on my way. Definitely would return on my return trip.

I chose a suite for my stay here because I knew I'd have at least one full day in which I'd be working from my room. It was a perfect place to get some work done. The room had a good desk for work, had a small kitchen for snacks and beverages or even a full meal. The hotel is well-located, with access to DC and Baltimore not far away (but closer to DC). It was a great home away from home.

I’m sorry that I do t have a picture to share of this hotel. We got in late and left early but it was exactly what we needed! The hotel is in a safe location and definitely appears to be a newer hotel. Very clean and well maintained. The best part was Alex at the front desk upon checking in. He was friendly, well spoken and helpful. Much appreciated!!!! Overall great stay. Oh and breakfast buffet was included.

Decent facility in a good location but the service is horrendous and some of the clientele are questionable. During our second night, the people (probably unsupervised kids) were jumping up and down for a long period of time. After waiting patiently for the ruckus to cease, I called front desk. After the phone ringing for about five minutes, the desk answered and the clerk said he would address the issue. Nothing changed. Breakfast is decent as fast food goes. Not one employee made us feel welcome. C’mon, #Marriott…do you really want us to begin staying at Hilton properties where we always feel welcome?
