Die Zimmer sind innen deutlich besser als das Motel von außen vermuten lässt. Sie wurden anscheinend vor nicht allzu langer Zeit modernisiert. Sauberkeit in Ordnung, Pluspunkt (für uns): Kein Teppichboden im Zimmer. Betten relativ neu und bequem. Das Frühstück ist sehr überschaubar: Kaffee/Tee, Oatmeal, Fruchtjoghurt, Waffeln. Für die Durchreise bzw. 1-2 Tage in Ordnung.

The rooms were newly remodeled and the staff was very kind. No breakfast was offered as they were still upgrading the kitchen. The room we stayed in was remodeled from top to bottom with new beds, furniture, shower toilet and sink. Nice new modern look. Don't be fooled by the exterior. That might be next.

We have stayed at the Copper Manor Motel many times over the years. It's our go-to lodging in Silver City. As of February 2023 they are undergoing a major renovation. We stayed in a newly renovated king suite this time. The room was large with a loveseat that opened into a bed, a small fridge with freezer, and a microwave oven. The TV is large and they have upgraded their TV package so they have tons of channels. The wifi is fast and reliable. The king bed was very comfortable, we were able to maintain a comfortable temperature in the room, although when the heater goes off it makes a noise not dissimilar to a canyon wren. We have never had a problem with security or feeling safe at the Copper Manor. The proprietors are super nice, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommend.

Beware of deceitful pricing if you have pets!! When I first booked I told them we needed a pet-friendly room, we had 3 pets. They told me it was fine there would be NO extra pet fee. Then when we arrived the clerk told me it would be a $25 pet fee. I said fine even though I was initially told no pet fee. Then after our stay they charged us another $50!!. This is not a nice motel and because we had pets they put us in a room that was rundown, the toilet leaked and ran all night long, the bathroom is shabby and the linens barely adequate. We were taken advantage of, beware!! It cost us more than double the advertised $70/night!

The gentleman behind the desk tried to be helpful. Gap under room door. Had to block with towel and cushions. Advertised breakfast included (still on the road signage), but no breakfast. No coffee pot in room, but he did give me one, but it just had a can of loose coffee with no measuring cup, etc. Shower never got hot, I brought this up to the man, but he wasn't able to fix. Shower also sprayed water all over. Property just looked like it needed some TLC - inside and outside.
