It's a youth hostel. As such, the facilities are limited to the essentials. I traveled as a family (couple + 2 children), having booked 2 twin rooms with bathroom. The difference with the Youth Hostel is its price, which is very affordable. The rooms were spacious, but the quality of the materials and decoration left something to be desired. It was a good night's sleep, but without any great luxuries or perks. Positive note also for the cleaning. Calm and peaceful surrounding area. Parking very easy and available. The check-in service took quite a while, between waiting and my check-in being completed. The wear and tear on materials in the rooms, due to use, is accentuated. The faucet in the bathroom sink in one of the bedrooms was not working properly. The spring and timer shower is also not very functional. The location is poor and quite far from the urban center of Espinho, which means you have to use your car. Breakfast is limited to the essentials (bread, ham, cheese, milk, coffee, concentrated juice, yogurt, cereals and sweets), and has little variety. It is not advisable to arrive too late, even during breakfast hours, as there is a risk that things will run out (in my case, there was only 1 yogurt left). Somewhat degraded appearance of the surrounding areas and the building, mini golf courses, etc.
