Das Image, das dem Waldhaus vorauseilt, haben wir vor Ort genauso angetroffen. Historischer Charme, perfekter Service, fantastisches Essen. In Verbindung mit der Gästekarte kann man die Region toll erkunden und die Natur geniessen. Drei Tage Entspannung pur.

Such a well run hotel. It was a pleasure to stay here. So much thoughtfulness and care without being fussy or stuffy. The setting is gorgeous and the comfort is top notch.
I arrived on a late train, was met at the station, whisked to the hotel, greeted there by two of the staff and then one of the owners, given a tour to get oriented and taken to a comfortable room that was quiet and had a great night's sleep.
The small touches - like fresh fruit both in the room and freely available on every floor -- make you feel welcomed and cared for without being interfered with or imposed upon.
In the morning I made use of the workout rooms and then the elegant spa facilities to take a morning swim.
Finally it was time for breakfast. Not to be missed.
This is a great hotel and sets the standard for the entire area.

Wir fühlten uns wie in eine frühere wunderbare Epoque zurück versetzt. Dazu haben das monumentale Gebäude, die sehr freundliche und ungezwungene Atmosphäre sowie das vorzügliche Essen beigetragen. Der persönliche Empfang und die Verabschiedung durch Mitglieder der Besitzerfamilien, in unserem Fall Frau Maria Dietrich, waren einzigartig.

Das Hotel Waldhaus ist in vielerlei Hinsicht einzigartig. Es liegt wunderschön direkt am See. Eine schönere Lage können wir uns nicht vorstellen! Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die architektonisch sehr schön umgesetzte Bar und das Fumoir sowie der architektonisch sehr beeindruckende Wellnessbereich. Das Waldhaus hat noch viele weitere Alleinstellungsmerkmale: Die sehr gute Stimmung unter den Mitarbeitern, der wunderschöne Blumenschmuck im ganzen Haus, das Waldrestaurant mit musikalischer Untermalung, die großzügigen Aufenthaltsräume, die kulturellen und sportlichen Angebote. Man fühlt sich einfach überall sehr wohl. Und ganz wichtig: Man spürt, dass das Waldhaus Tradition hat und seit Generationen von einer Familie geführt wird.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und wurden im Haus umhergeführt. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer entspricht mit seiner Einrichtung dem historischen Haus. Sehr schöne Aussicht auf den Silsersee. Das Essen war köstlich und die Weinauswahl unglaublich und dies zu sehr moderaten Preisen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem eindrücklichen Haus sehr genossen. Judith und Markus

Questo Hotel è un'opera d'arte totale, in cui c'è architettura, c'è musica, c'è alta cucina, c'è quel savoir vivre che si trova così di raro. E se a qualcuno piace guardarsi intorno e osservare gli altri ospiti, si può avere l'impressione di essere in un romanzo o una pièce teatrale di Schnitzler, con personaggi principali e secondari, caratteri ricorrenti e quadretti comici o tragici. Tutto qui è concertato per superare le aspettative più esigenti, ogni cosa è curata, scelta, consepevole. Tutto il personale è come una grande orchestra che suona meravigliosamente una complicata sinfonia, e come in un'orchestra il merito è equamente distributo tra il direttore per la guida generale e le grandi linee, e i singoli membri, con il loro tocco personale e le piccole attenzioni. È un albergo, certo, ma più che un albergo è un esempio, un faro nella nebbia, una grande nave che procede per la sua strada e che dimostra anno dopo anno come la cultura della vecchia Europa sia viva e possa ancora superare molte sfide che i tempi impongono.

Das Hotel Waldhaus ist hervorragend und begeistert immer wieder. Insgesamt charmant und sehr gut eingerichtet und vor allem top unterhalten und auf dem neusten Stand. Sehr schöne geräumige Zimmer mit wunderbarem Ausblick auf das Engadin und die Berge. Maximal schönes Frühstücksbuffet mit feinen Produkten aus der Region. Und das Nachtessen ist wirklich hervorragend, ebenfalls mit regionalen Produkten, und die Küche ist wirklich top. Mehrere Restaurants sorgen für Abwechslung. Alles in allem ein top Service, dank einer sehr engagierten Familie, die auch Personal ausbildet und auf Nachwuchs setzt. Und das geniale, hervorragend ausgebildete, motivierte und überaus nette Personal macht natürlich in allen Funktionen den Unterschied. Herzlichen Dank für das tolle Wochenende im Waldhaus, allerseits!
