Nous finissons notre voyage de noces à la belle tortue. Nous n’aurions pu imaginer plus bel endroit. Un décor de carte postale et un service exceptionnel. Outre ce lieu magique, il ne serait rien sans cette belle rencontre humaine avec benjamin et valoris. Un chef qui propose des plats aux saveurs délicates et étonnantes associés à des vins choisis avec attention. Une pure merveille.

Séjour de rêve à La belle Tortue. Un lodge confidentiel superbe, posé face à une magnifique anse, très bien aménagé et entretenu, où les hôtes sont choyés par une équipe au top. Une cuisine délicieuse et recherchée, chaque soir des menus différents , de nouvelles découvertes, une belle table dressée, un service attentionné. Le bonheur! We booked this place by accident as it was the nonrefundable option but as we had no choice we had to go. We started out with trepidation, but it turned into delight when we got there. The team met us at the ferry terminal, crossing was very smooth, and the boat is quite large. The lodge is quite compact with only 10-12 guests at a time. All are very modern and functional. The cove is a delight and though shallow at low tide has no currents so is very safe. We snorkelled and saw a lot of fish, as well as large spikes sea urchins. Trekking on the island is a delight and their routes to suit all abilities, though I would caution to have the correct boots and a walking pole. We trekked to potato bay, and it was hot on the way there but poured with rain on the way back, making the paths a bit more slippery. Even in the rain this place is beautiful as there were a myriad of new waterfalls. The air and sea are so clean, as there is very little pollution. The best part of the whole holiday was the very friendly staff and the exquisite food. There are 4 chefs Benjamin (Manager as well), Valoris (Lovely lady pastry chef), Arul and one other (didn't get his name). Not to forget Ishara (boss lady in the al fresco dining area) and Nidin the bartender who made great cocktails. The masterpieces they created surpassed many fine dining restaurants we have been to around the world. Truly exceptional with very well-balanced flavours. The team here are so friendly and caring which made our stay memorable.

Que dire de cet endroit, à part que nous avons trouvé le Paradis. Tout y est parfait. L’accueil est chaleureux, dans un cadre intimiste. Le personnel est adorable, réponds à toutes les interrogations avec le sourire. On sent qu’ici, nous sommes sur du qualitatif. Nous avons même eu la surprise d’être surclassé à notre arrivée. Concernant l’hôtel, les chambres sont spacieuses, décorées avec goût, la vue sur la plage est juste bluffante. Et tout cela à taille humaine. Loin du tourisme de masse. Ici nous sommes (presque) seuls. Les randonnées au départ de l’hôtel sont accessibles et très jolies. La plage est digne d’une aventure de Robinson Crusoe. Nous avons même eu la chance incroyable de voir un bébé tortue éclore et gagner le grand bleu, tout cela devant notre chambre. Ici le temps se perd, les pieds dans l’eau, les raies sautent devant l’hôtel, une tortue nage à quelques mètres du bord. Le chef nous offre un repas en 4 temps, goûteux, raffiné, tout cela dans un cadre idyllique. Les rhums arrangés de la maison, valent le détours ! Possibilité de plonger, à quelques encablures seulement nous tombons sur des requins nourrisses, des tortues, des langoustes et j’en passe. Bref le seul point négatif, c’est de ne pas rester plus longtemps dans cet établissement, dans cet endroit, sur cet île, où le personnel fait un travail exceptionnel. C’est notre second séjour à La Belle Tortue et nous avons à nouveau apprécié l’hôtel posé sur la plage, à taille humaine, et très confortable. La cuisine de Benjamin, le chef, est délicieuse et inventive. Chaque soir, c’est un plaisir de la déguster sur la terrasse… Et les desserts sont excellents ! Merci à toute l’équipe pour l’accueil, on se sent vraiment très bien à la Belle Tortue !

Un lieu magique sur une ile minuscule. Une petite structure avec une qualité digne d’une grande. Tout le savoir faire à la française. Une cuisine gastronomique à tomber et du personnel aux petits soins. Des chambres donnant directement sur une plage merveilleuse. On vous le conseille vivement.

Erholung pur, sehr freundliches Personal und Spitzenküche! Es ist ein Ort wo man sich vom Alltag erholen kann. Es hat auch wenige Touristen, man ist der Natur sehr Nahe. Ebenso wird hier die Nachhaltigkeit sehr gross geschrieben. Herzlichen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft - wir hoffen sehr, dass wir bald wiederkommen können!

J'y suis allé avec mon père pour ses 50 ans, et nous avons été accueillis comme des rois. C'était mon premier voyage sur une île paradisiaque, et j'ai été émerveillé par chaque activité et la vue depuis ma chambre, ainsi que depuis l'espace de restauration. Nous avons passé 10 jours formidables entre balades, activités, baignades (océan et piscine). Le personnel est à l'écoute et fait tout son possible pour que votre séjour soit inoubliable. Je n'ai pas encore mentionné les repas : en choisissant la formule avec dîner inclus, vous serez certain de manger à votre faim, selon vos envies, avec un menu varié chaque soir !
