Hotels in Koh Rong Sanloem, Sihanoukville

I think Pearl Beach Resort is the best hotel in Koh Rong Sanloem. Each room is a small independent house. The surrounding environment is relatively primitive, and there will be 🦎 geckos visiting:), and the sanitation is cleaned in time. We booked a twin room, but the hotel mistakenly booked a double room, so they added a bed for us for free. The ferry from Sihanoukville can go directly to the hotel pier, which is very convenient. The beach is not big, very flat, and the hotel is exclusive. The overall feeling is comfortable. The breakfast is very rich, and lunch and dinner can only be eaten at the hotel, and the variety is relatively small.

My husband and I really enjoyed our time at Sara Resort. The room was clean and had all the amenities one would need. The pool area was wonderful and we got to spend time relaxing, contemplating and reading. Having the beach within a few steps was great. I loved being able to go for an early morning swim. The staff were friendly and attentive. The resort also had entertainment some of the evenings. My favorite aspect was being able to slow down and relax in a comfortable and chilled environment. Thank you Sara Resort and staff for a wonderful experience.

Our stay was great, the staff was very accommodating. Because the hotel is located in a small remote island, the infrastructure was understandably a bit lacking, such as temporary power outages that would last a minute and loss of water pressure. But again, the staff were quick to mend any situation. The front desk had WhatsApp and that made it easy to communicate with the hotel. They also helped organize ferry and buses for transportation to other cities.

Dom shaped rooms were specious. They provided towels for beach. Their jacuzzi was surface cleaned daily. However, there was no circulation and looked dirty. We did not know that after getting off speed boat to the island, we had to take a boat to the resort. No one was there. After waiting 15 min, we walked to the nearest resort and asked them to call Moonligth for a boat. They said it would be there in 10 min but took much longer. Although we were there after 2 pm the room wasn’t ready and had to wait a little longer. Beach was clean and quiet.

I stayed here with my husband and two children. We chose this resort because they had rooms well suited for families. The resort staff met at us at the pier and took us and our luggage by small speed boat to the resort—saving us a difficult walk along the beach with all of our bags. The front desk staff were friendly, and the check-in process was smooth. The rooms were very clean. We loved being on the beach and having a view of the ocean from our front deck. There were comfortable couches and chairs on the deck where we could lounge throughout the day. We looked forward to the resort breakfast each morning. I especially appreciated that the wait staff would provide steamed milk for our coffee each morning. We had several meals at the resort restaurant during our stay and we enjoyed them all. We were disappointed by the amount of trash that would wash up along the island beach but the resort had staff that would maintain the beach in front of the resort each day so it was nice to have a cleaner area for swimming and playing in the sand.

We received first a very bad room, it was small and smelly. The room hadn't got even a floor, only beton... We went to the reception and asked for a normal room, the guy at the reception didn't wonder about the our complains. We received a room which was better, but it was some out of order room (no room number and no amenities). During our 5 nights stay the room was not properly cleaned or the bedsheet changed. The swimming pool was dirty, so we didn't use it. The breakfast and dinner was good and tasty. It is definitely not 4 star hotel, max. 3 star.

Breakfast is a la carte, English, American and local. The hotel's small rowing boats are placed by the sea, and guests can use them at will, but they are also responsible for their own safety. The hotel provides immersion suits. There are no other stores on both sides of this hotel, and the rooms are all independent, so it is very quiet during the day and night. There are few rooms in this store, so the beach chairs and sea in front are relatively clean, and you can take pictures of the beach and sea where there are no people. The sea water is clear, but there are very few fish. The high tide and low tide change greatly, the shallow water area is very long, and the sand is fine, which is very suitable for children. You can't see the sunrise on the sea from this location, it's from the bay mountain, the angle is not good, it's a pity. In the afternoon, the mountain on the left will cover the scorching sun, and it is very good to go to the sea at this time. The hotel lunch is more than one dollar more expensive than other restaurants on the island. The taste is not bad, and the environment is better.

The beds are comfortable, hot water for showering, the place right in front of the beach. We had some specials requests because Im coeliac, related to the food and the waiter and chef were very helpful, so recommend for coelic people. Super cozy, relaxing place and really nice staff. Recommend!

Honestly the best view I've ever had from my room to watch the sunset across the beach. The staff couldn't have done more, they were so helpful with everything. I also left something in my room and a staff member found me before I got on the boat from M'Pai Bay.

Preis- Leistung sind akzeptabel. Nichts Spektakuläres, eignet sich als Unterkunft zur Übernachtung als Ausgangspunkt zum erkunden der Inseln oder Strände. Sauberkeit ist immer Sache der Betrachtung. Bad & Bett sind sauber, ich schaue eben manchmal auch unters Bett, auf Ventilator und die Zimmerdecken, da könnte man gelegentlich auch mal durch wedeln oder wischen. Die Unterkunft liegt 500 m vom Pier Pier/ Stadtstrand entfernt, in ruhiger Seiten- Lage mit angenehmer Nachbarschaft. Klimaanlage 👍🏼 WLAN 👎 Kühlschrank 👎 Relex - Zone 👎 Das gegenüberliegende Khmer- Restaurant ist echt toll und empfehlenswert. Der Franzose in der gegenüberliegenden Straße - Restaurant „Flambee“ ist etwas teurer, aber für Pizza Liebhaber etwas Besonderes. Laura ist nett und hilfsbereit, sie managt die Unterkünfte gerade in Vertretung der Eigentümer.
