We just stayed at hotel la prairie in Crans for the first time. I have been going to Crans for over 50 years and found this jewel of a hotel that reminds of the way hotels used to be in Crans. This is a family run establishment, with staff that have been with the hotel for years and the quality of their service shows bright. The restaurant offers excellent food, a good wine list and accessible prices. I love the fact that they also offer all of the Swiss specialties like Fondue Fromage, Raclette as well as meat fondues that are as good as any restaurant in Crans. The rooms are large, renovated with fantastic bathrooms as well ass the best view in Crans(if you have a south facing room on a high floor). The two owners, Corinne and Valerie and charming and very hospitable in the best Swiss tradition.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli, déjà au moment de notre réservation pour un grand groupe de 27 personnes, j'ai apprécié la souplesse et la sympathie du personnel. Nous avons également manger une bonne raclette le premier soir, c'était parfait. Tout le monde est reparti satisfait de l'hébergement.

Merci pour ce super séjour , un petit hôtel très cosy avec vue sur les Alpes depuis notre chambre . À proximité du chemin des lanternes , et surtout merci pour le super accueil du personnel, et les bons conseils.

Found the property older than expected. Room was dark. Reception staff good. Dining room staff OK but seating for dinner was challenging because wouldnt allow us choice table we wanted in an empty restaurant. Bar staff bit serly.

We were able to check in early, which was a big plus. Plenty of parking was available. Food at the restaurant was good. Communication was a bit of a challenge, since we spoke English and the staff mostly spoke French but there was a man at the bar/restaurant who spoke English. The elevator is a bit small and the winding road to drive to the hotel was a challenge but the place is beautiful up in the mountains.

Hotel idéal pour passer un séjour en famille: grandes chambres avec beaucoup de rangement et grands espaces communs pour se retrouver le soir. Les chambres coté soleil ont une vue 'inprenable et du soleil tout l'après-midi. Les navettes vers les pistes sont un atout supplémentaire
