I stayed here overnight after driving cross-country to visit family. I am a frequent traveler, but I arrived late in the day with a suitcase full of dirty clothes, $1 cash in pocket and full-on travel exhaustion. When the lady at the front desk told me that it would cost $5 cash to do a load of laundry, I was defeated. As I tried to find a way to quickly get the $4 cash, she stepped in the back office and returned, handing me 4 crisp dollar bills from her purse. I was so overwhelmed by her generosity that I burst into tears. She then asked if I needed anything else, like a hug? As it turns out, I did. :-) I later learned that lady was Ashley, the property manager, and I am still moved by her understanding and kindness. Besides rescuing me, she also runs a top-notch hotel. They served beer and warm chocolate chip cookies when I arrived (only certain days/times M-Th happy hour, I believe), Lucky Me! My room was pristine and comfortable as were the common areas. Breakfast was hot and had many choices. This was my best stay of the entire week!
