Hotel Na Półboru

This hotel truly is very nice and in a beautiful setting. It is very well maintained. Food is very good as is the location, and this is the reason for the ** rating, but…… I am truly disappointed writing this review as the low grade of **(2) could have been avoided by the hotel. This is the 2nd night of 2, so the final night of my stay. Writing this review at 1.45 am after not having slept at all. There is a party with a live band on stage right next to my room. I called the reception to ask when the music will stop and the answer was “soon” - probably around 4 or 5 am (?!?!) . I told the man with the reception that I had nothing to do with the party and asked why I was in a room right next to the party. Was told “it’s like this sometimes.” When I asked if they could put me in a different room he plainly said “no”. I asked the person who I spoke with for his name when speaking with management the next day and he refused to give it to me. I travel a lot and certainly understand that events are a big source of revenue for hotels. I am not a complainer but wanted to warn travelers about the potential for very loud noise if your room is close to the stage. IN SUMMARY: apparently there are no rules related to sound cut off at this hotel. Also if they “screw up” and put you in a room close to the stage they will do nothing about it.

This time we stayed four nights. Lack of safe in the room was a major nuisance. Breakfast was ok, but seemed same every day. Price went up to 45 zl per petson. We had dinner in the restaurant couple of times and food was ok, but nothing special. Parking got very busy in the evening.

We wanted to eat something regular instead of „rubbish food” And Pol Boru was the best idea! Only 2km from the Express Road! We took flaczki, Pork tenderloins in chanterelle sauce And salads! Very tasty local Polish dishes! Waitresses were very polite And helpful!!! 5-Star reccomendation!!!
