The room is so quaint, it seems to be a house that is hundreds of years old, but it is well maintained and has an elevator. I really like their room style. The shampoo and bath gel in the bathroom smells so good that I even bought their soap. The breakfast is average, but the experience of staying here is very good. The blue sky of Siena at night is so beautiful!

The location is great, there is a delicious Italian restaurant next to it. The room was comfortable and the service was excellent. The breakfast is a bit bad, there is no meat and eggs, and there are very few varieties~

Location stupenda, da cartolina. Mantenuta con cura e gusto. Personale eccezionale tutti squisitamente gentili, professionali e cortesi dalle receptionist al personale addetto alle colazioni, a quello delle pulizie. Non li menziono per non fare del torto a nessuno nel dubbio che ne dimenticassi anche uno solo Non vi era una domanda alla quale non avevano una pronta risposta. Compagni di eventi nell'organizzare un birthday party a sorpresa. Un bella sorpresa

Pensione Palazzo Ravizza, Siena For us, this was the ideal place to stay in Siena. Our room was beautiful - spacious, clean and comfortable with a superb window view over the countryside of Tuscany. The hotel was well-run and in good condition, with a calm, cool interior that had the hallmarks of quality. All the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, especially at Reception. A key feature of the hotel is its large, well-kept garden looking out over Tuscany, where guests can enjoy peace, tranquillity and birdsong at any time of day or evening. Breakfast fare was not extensive but most enjoyable because of its good quality. Drinks at the bar were very reasonably priced. This hotel was one of the highlights of our tour of Italy – a quiet, refined haven just a short walk from the cathedral and the amazing central square of Siena, a magical hill-top town of medieval character. It was a joy to stay at Pensione Palazzo Ravizza and we would not hesitate to book there again on a return to Siena. We highly recommend it to discerning travellers.

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 night stay at Palazzo Ravizza very much. We arrived in Siena, our first Tuscan stop, at the train station around 4 pm. The hotel is not walkable from the station and calling an Uber wasn’t as simple as other cities but via the Uber app, a taxi did come. By car, the hotel was a short ride on a busy road, then through one of the old gates where it turned into windy, narrow streets. The hotel itself is very pretty and has the look and feel of an old house with bookcases everywhere. I’d love to know the history, it was almost certainly a house and even had what looked like family portraits everywhere. Check in was quick and easy. We were on the second floor with a beautiful view of the garden. If we’d had more time it would have been a lovely spot for a glass of wine. We did carry our breakfast out there one morning and my husband enjoyed several cups of coffee in the early peaceful morning. The center of town is a short walk down a hill then you’re into the windy, historic streets we came for. We had a king bed that was SO comfortable. Perfectly firm. Opening the windows in the night was really nice even if the birds were loud. The bathroom was clean, nice, and comfortable for the two of us. Breakfast was great and typical with some added savory pastries. A ham and cheese and a spinach which was delicious. It was no problem to get a glass of ice for my Diet Coke - I always buy one in town the evening before. 5 STARS and I’d love to stay here again! Including pics:)

A charming hotel with spacious rooms. A beautiful garden terrace with views of the Tuscan countryside was a pleasant surprise. All of the staff were helpful and gracious. The location is good, a short walk to the Duomo and Piazza del Campo. x

We were there for two nights and had a wonderful time in Siena and we agree with the positives reviews. There is a CarreFour market, open till 8 pm even on Sunday, just a couple minutes down the road. We had a car and parking was private. Just behind the hotel and 40 steps from the back entrance. Dropped off and picked up luggage from the front door. The bellman rode with me to the parking lot which helped. We paid for our room in advance when the exchange rate was 95 cents to the Euro. When we were there, the exchange rate was 88 cents to the Euro. Great communications. My wife had a cat allergy and they took that into account. Sent out great driving instructions and a map to the hotel. A negative was the refrigerator did not get cold enough, but that could be an American standard. We had no issue with wifi.
