We stayed 3 nites at this very charming and comfortable former Palazzo in Sienna. Our hosts, Giacomo & Lorenzo took very good care of us, as we enjoyed a glass of wine and snacks on their lovely terrace, with a great view of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast were ample and delicious -- of course always with expressos. They made dinner recommendations and reservations for us, as well as arranging taxis to the train station and a day-long excursion to Monterrigione, Volterra & San Gimignano. The location is lovely and quiet, being outside the bustle of the old city. But still easy walking distance to restaurants and attractions. Their personal attention made our stay exceptionally nice.

A very very special place to stay especially if you want a place to wind down and enjoy Tuscany. The Villa is outside the main Siena city walls so you do have to walk about a 1/2 mile into town however that is not bad at all; and it is a wonderful place. Quiet. Great views. Wonderful staff. Giacomo is an amazing owner. In a very short period of time he made us feel as if we were extended family. I miss our conversations. His co owner Lorenzo did an excellent job of making tour and restaurant reservations and directing us to the unique places in town. If you stay here, and you should, take an afternoon, set out on the patio with a glass of wine and just breath deep and chill. It made our trip to Siena full.

If you want to stay in an authentic Italian villa dating back to 1700 then this is the place. The views are stunning. The staff are gracious and knowledgeable of the area. We went on the most amazing drive through the Tuscan countryside recommended by the hotel. A great place to stay in Sienna

A charming and characterful small hotel. We had “a room with a view” and a lovely painted ceiling. It was very comfortable and the air conditioning was most welcome. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and generous, helping us to make the most of our time in Siena. Lingering over a delicious breakfast on the balcony was another treat. We both walked and used the bus that stops near the gate to go into beautiful Siena.
