La Villa

Good location, with free parking outside hotel, 10 mins walk to Siena the room is clean, just the design and furniture in the room is a bit strange. Like someone's home with Chinese painting and Chinese style cabinets as side tables.

Our first time in Siena… wanted a hotel just away from the hustle and bustle. La Villa was perfect . Arrived at the railway station and got a taxi to the hotel 15 euros. Greeted by a charming receptionist who was super friendly . The hotel is small , really comfortable with a shady outside garden great for a little drink before setting out. Our room was a nice size , not over big but enough room to open suitcases and still walk around. Absolutely spotless and was at the rear of the property over looking the garden. The road at the front of the hotel was not too busy. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and we had it in the rear garden. Then finished with a coffee on one of the outside sofas to plan our day ahead. The hotel is situated on a main road but don’t let that put you off. It’s tree lined with wide pavements and a small park opposite . There’s a fort opposite which is a great place to wander before setting out. Supermarket on the back street and a place for coffees and ice creams close by. If looking for a relaxed place to stay 10 minutes from the centre of Siena consider here. Take a small extension cable with multiple sockets as only one wall socket available. Small in room fridge perfect for a bottle of fizz and water. Staff super friendly .

Fantastic property and location. Lot of off street free parking spots around hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was super comfy. Definitely recommended, breakfast is average.
