Soggiornato per una notte, hotel tranquillo, vicino al limite della ZTL In 10 minuti circa si arriva a piazza del campo, Nelle vicinanze qalche centinaio di metri ci sono ristorantini e trattorie (chiedete alla reception) Se venite in auto consiglio di prenotare anche il parcheggio visto che è difficile trovarli liberi.

Other reviews were all over the place. I guess it depends on one’s luck of draw on particular room? Mine was fine. No problem. AC works fine. I was there during the Palio. So needless to say it’s noisy with all the singing and chanting. But I thought that’s part of the charm of the festivity. I suspect that’s the same at every hotel, probably even more so for hotels in the center of town! Your mindset may impact your perspective if you’re not expecting it. Also, because it’s Palio week, it’s rather pricy no matter how you look at it. It’s a long and uphill walk to get into the city center. The street is a bit desolate at times, especially after dark. On the other hand, it’s an easy walk to the “restaurant row”.

We had a great stay at Hotel Minerva. Wonderful breakfast area and good breakfast choices. Outdoor area was nice and provided a great view of Siena. The room was clean and refreshed daily. They also are located outside the ZTL area and they have covered parking for a nominal fee. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family

Gezellig hotel met een goede ligging om Siena te verkennen en beshikt bovendien over een betalende, grote, overdekte parking. Het terras bij de kamer was evengroot als de kamer zelf en had een schitterend zicht op Siena. Badkamer was wel klein en smal en in de ontbijtzaal was het ook bij momenten heel druk. Bediening was er wel super.

Nous avons passé 1 nuit dans cet hôtel. Nous avons très bien été accueillis et avons pu laisser nos valises le temps que la chambre soit prête. On nous a fourni une carte de la ville, accompagnée de quelques conseils (pour les visites et restaurants). La chambre était basique mais très bien pour la nuit. L'hôtel dispose d'un chouette espace extérieur, sur lequel nous avons pu déguster un bon spritz préparé par l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner était bien. Je précise que ça n'était pas nécessaire pour nous mais notre chambre était équipée pour accueillir un voyageur à mobilité réduite.
