We didn't end up staying at the Luxury because after booking and paying, the property manager contacted us and asked us to move to another property with the options they provided and upgrade the room and breakfast as compensation. Finally we moved to Boutique Indochine d'Angkor, a fairly comfortable hotel. The location is not exactly in the center of the crowd (pub street) of Siem Reap, but you can walk there for about 15-20 minutes.
It's a little far from the bathhouse, but it's on a quiet street lined with simple shops. The neighborhood kids come here to play and the staff are very friendly. We stayed for 4 days. 🙇 It was great to have warm water 😀 If it had been summer, I would have liked to go swimming in the pool 🏊♀️

Unfortunately, while the location and service were excellent here, the amenities and cleanliness left quite a bit to be desired. We found baby roaches in the bathroom, the bathtub was moldy and didn't drain, and the walls had weird stains on them. The bed was perfectly made and neat, though, and the sheets seemed clean. There is a pool here, but the views leave a bit to be desired, and while they used to have a pool side bar, it appears to be permanently closed. The front desk got us some towels and went out and grabbed some beers for us to enjoy by the pool, so that certainly made up for it, but it wasn't quite the vibe I was hoping for. The location is incredible, being just a block away from the entrance to Pub Street, a couple blocks from the river and all of the amazing river side food stalls, but far enough away from all that as to not be too loud at night. They also were able to set us up with some very nice electric peddle-assist bikes that we were able to take at 4:30 am so we could make it in time for the Angkor Wat sunrise.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk to Pub Street, where you’ll find plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as the night market and shopping area. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to experience the vibrant nightlife and local culture. Highly recommend!
The location is about a 10-minute walk to the pub, and there are plenty of food, coffee, massage, and travel agencies every week, and above all, the hotel staff were very friendly and active.
I would like to visit again next time.
I stayed in the women's dormitory as a solo traveller.
The location was great, right in front of Pub Street, and there was a convenience store nearby!!
The room was clean and comfortable.
The front desk staff were very kind and greeted me every time♪
I'd like to stay here again if I come to Siem Reap.
The first room I booked was assigned to the 4th floor (actually the 5th floor) because there was no elevator, but the air conditioner broke so I had to move to a room on the 1st floor. The location is close to Pub Street, but there is an elementary school right in front, so it is noisy from 7 a.m. . The employees are very friendly, but the downside is that there is no cleaning or replacement of supplies for 3 days!
I used it for a trip to Cambodia with a friend.
It's very convenient as it's close to the downtown area, but the noise is a concern.
It's a busy city so it's noisy until late at night.
I think people who are nervous should avoid it.
The rooms are large and comfortable.
However, there is no elevator, so if you have large luggage, it will be difficult to go up to the upper floor.
The price was cheap and breakfast was included, so we were satisfied!
The hotel has beautiful Khmer-style bungalows including a terrace, where among other things breakfast is served (since there is no classic restaurant) - absolutely wonderful. But everything was topped by the outstanding service and the attentive staff, they were absolutely fabulous. They noticed when we got up and served the breakfast accordingly, they noticed when we went to the pool and brought towels for us, they saw us getting ready to go to town and got the Tuk tuk ready, best of all: when they saw us come back from our day‘s excursion on our daughters‘ birthday they came with a cake (including candles) and sang „Happy Birthday“- they were amazing. Clear recommendation!

Amazing
KKevin Taylor 1983Superb hotel which is made even more accommodating by fabulous staff that go out of their way to ensure you have an amazing stay.
Location: 3 minutes walk from bar street and market area which is close enough not to hear any of the night time noise yet be in the middle of the wonderful Siem reap night scene. Perfect proximity for myself with a young family.
Hotel: medium sized hotel well maintained and very clean. Pool is good sized and perfect for to chill out after a long day at the temples or markets. Rooms are excellent quality and perfect for my family.
Staff: Top marks for the staff, truly an unforgettable experience and I have stayed in many 5 star hotels worldwide. The service surpassed anything I had ever experienced, staff would be there immediately when you arrived at any point In the day with cold towels and water for your convenience. They were forever helpful with any requests and would always go above and beyond to ensure your stay was perfect. This is an outstanding hotel team and made the stay 100% better as we felt like part of the family.
Food: Breakfast menu has lots of variety and we tried most during the stay and all were great quality and very tasty. Set menu was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the traditional Khmer set to taste the local cuisines. The hand made nuts they have for sale and also come free with a drink from the bar are moreish and I had to purchase 3 bags to take home to keep my family happy.
Overall… I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is wishing for a comfortable and homely stay in Siem Reap who doesn’t want the chaos of the city centre but still wants to be close enough to easily walk there and back for shopping/food/drinking.
Thank you Khmer mansion for making our stay unforgettable!

MMorokotTemple hotel is my most recommended one if you are looking for a stay closest to Pubstreet. Helpful staff and good service even during the holiday period.
I went to stay there during Pchum ben holiday, the room is so spacious and my son really enjoyed with the bathtub! I definitely go there again.
AAnonymous UserI had a very comfortable stay! The staff were especially kind and friendly, providing excellent service. The room was well cleaned and very tidy. Additionally, having a washing machine and dryer was extremely convenient, especially for a longer stay.
The hotel’s location was also fantastic—it’s close to the downtown area, making it easy to explore and find great places to eat. I would definitely love to stay here again!
TTomHousemanWe had a standard private room and it was one of the best places we’ve stayed throughout south east Asia! Such good value for money, very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The bar downstairs was really cheap, beer for $1 and 3 for 2 on happy hour (2pm - 11pm) the pool area was small but nice although we didn’t get chance to go in as we were too busy. Staff were all really helpful and helped us book our trips and they also offered a laundry service which was great.
PPDF666Having stayed here 9 years ago (pre Covid) there has been change like everywhere! The location of the hotel is very near to Pub Street and the room we were in (B08) was at the front of the hotel and especially on Friday and Saturday the music went on into the small hours of the morning! In fairness to the staff they did offer another room.
The swimming pool was good and clean. The Staff were excellent with helping to arrange an excursion to Angkor Watt and even to help organise our onward travel and hotel. (5 stars we give there)
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and well maintained, with great attention to detail from the housekeeping team. The service was excellent – staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location is also perfect, very convenient and close to everything. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and easy access to the city.
