We stayed at this hotel because it was said to be 5-star. However, it was not exactly clean. There was dirt and spider webs that could be easily removed in the bathroom, which had a bathtub, toilet, and sink all in one. Also, the bathtub did not have a shower, so we had to wash ourselves in the shower room before getting in. The wifi was weak, and the window did not close completely. This may have been the case only in our room.
Our guide said that it was the best hotel run by Cambodians.

I spent a wonderful five days at Angkor Paradise Hotel. The hotel is an old five-star hotel, and the various wooden products are very pleasing to the eye. Those who like mahogany must not miss it. Although the hotel is quite old, the decoration is still well maintained. The family room I booked is very suitable for a family of three. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and daily breakfast is a pleasure. The swimming pool is beautiful, but because the schedule is full, I didn't have time to try swimming. Hotel is great and the staff are lovely, the pool was the best bit and there is also a good happy hour from 4 - 8pm everyday. Rooms are spacious and would stay there again.

I find the hotel very convenient. The hotel is well located, near to the archeological park.
The staff was very friendly, professional and supportive.
I would only recommend to upgrade some of the bathroom equipment, for example the showers. The one in my bedroom was old and needed maintenance.
