Hotel Vellita Siem Reap

This hotel is a true embodiment of comfort, coziness and the highest level of service. Everything here is brand new, fresh, thought out to the smallest detail. We had a wonderful time here and were absolutely delighted! Room: The rooms are spacious, clean, with thoughtful filling. I would especially like to note the shower gel - it smells incredibly nice, leaving behind a feeling of freshness. However, the situation with the lotion was different: it was a little dry and had a not very pleasant smell. I think such things are worth checking. There is a capsule coffee machine in the room, but the coffee is provided in a jar, which makes its preparation impossible without additional filters. There is also excellent tea, but there is no teapot or at least filter bags, which makes brewing it inconvenient. It would be great if this point was taken into account in the future. Staff and service: The staff is incredibly friendly and responsive, their care is felt in everything. If you look at it from the point of view of European service, some might think that they are even too attentive. However, in Cambodia, hospitality is shown in this way, and it creates a special atmosphere of warmth and care. Restaurant and breakfasts: Breakfasts are beyond praise! A great choice of dishes, fresh ingredients, amazing taste of each dish. We ordered both à la carte dishes and used the buffet - everything was at the highest level. I really liked that you can choose any table, even the largest one, and the staff immediately re-serves it for the required number of guests, removing unnecessary cutlery and napkins. This is a sign of a truly high level of service. There are two nuances that may need to be adjusted. Firstly, the staff does not use the “open hand” rule when serving, which sometimes creates inconvenience - either the waiter awkwardly bends his hand, or accidentally ends up too close to the guest. This is a small technical detail, knowledge of which could significantly facilitate their work. Secondly, the restaurant has a special feature related to cutlery: when the waiters clear away the plates with used cutlery on them, they return them to the table for reuse. In a hotel of this level, it is much more logical to immediately bring the guest clean cutlery for the next course. Territory and amenities: The pool is impeccably clean, the recreation areas are well-kept and thought out. Fountains, lighting, landscape design - all this creates a feeling of a real paradise. It is obvious that the hotel team puts great attention into maintaining perfect order. To sum up, one can say one thing: this hotel certainly deserves its five stars, and I would pay twice as much for it without a shadow of regret. This is an ideal place to relax, where you want to return again. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

The family room I stayed in was big, but it was in the corner and the balcony was not very nice. It might be a new hotel, the lobby and restaurant were well designed, the breakfast was good, I ate it for four days and didn't get tired of it. The service was good. However, the location of this hotel is a bit remote, there is almost nothing nearby, and you have to take a tutu car to go to the city, which is a bit troublesome. If I go to Siem Reap again, I will definitely stay in the city, it is more convenient to eat and walk.

Except the location is a little bit far, everything else is good
