It is listed as a 4-star hotel, but in reality it is only 2.5 stars or 3 stars at best.
The lobby is still better, but the rooms are low quality and not comfortable at all.
The room was not comfortable so I didn't want to stay in the room, so I spent most of my time in the lobby and only slept in the room.
There is no TV, toilet paper or tea, and they only provide water if you ask.
The shower room is small and not very clean, and the floor quickly becomes a puddle. The Wi-Fi is slow.
There are two pools, but they are small.
The staff are friendly, but $27 is too much for this quality!
Even if you go to Angkor Wat, you can get picked up further into the city for a tour, so there is no need to stay here.
It was a real mistake.

Our stay at People by the Community was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our visit comfortable. They even arranged an airport pickup for $35, which was a convenient start to our trip. The only minor issue was that we couldn't get connecting rooms, which would have been ideal for our family. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would have extended our stay if possible. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Siem Reap!

The hotel room is very clean and the service attitude is very good. When checking in, the hotel staff will also introduce that the hotel's concept is community-oriented, and the food and drinks are all from the community, and they will donate one dollar from the room fee every night to give back to the community. There are welcome drinks and fruits at the door, and free afternoon tea and refreshments in the afternoon. The hotel is in a very good location, very close to the National Museum, within walking distance, and the pho next to it is delicious.

Great little place run by the community and for the community. The pool on top floor has great views. Having tuktuk that give discounts to hotel patrons was a good bonus.
