Nina Angkor Residence

The hotel rooms don’t look like the pictures. The pool was greenish. My room wasn’t cleaned in the 5 days I stayed, I asked for toilet paper and was ignored. There’s never anyone at the Lobby desk when you need them. I had a full on flying ant infestation on the last night, I left my room at 6pm bug free, when I returned at around 9.45pm there were bugs crawling everywhere, all in my suitcases, all over the bed and floor.

Exceptional Stay – Can’t Wait to Return! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth, and they even give me an upgrade – a lovely gesture that set the tone for a fantastic stay.

The room was amazing, it was great to have a private swimming pool. The staff was excellent, both Mr. Bo and Miss Ly were super friendly, helpful and accommodating to our needs and requests. While the location is not bad, is not in city center and that is a bit uncomfortable. You'll need a tuk tuk to go to the temples in the morning, then back to hotel, then to city center for dinner/party then back to hotel.

Nina Angkor Residence is a great place to stay in Siem Reap if you are looking for clean, comfortable, quiet, and reasonably priced accommodation. It is a little away from the center of town, so you will need transport to go into town, but you will need transport anyway to visit the Angkor monuments and places of interest, because all of them are away from town. You may be able arrange transport by contacting Nina Angkor in advance, as I did. They have various options for breakfast, but it is not a buffet. I am returning to Siem Reap and will be staying at Nina Angkor again. Allow yourself a few days in Siem Reap to see both the major attractions, as well as some of the lesser known temples, as the lesser known ones can be more atmospheric.

Had a fantastic stay here. It is a family run hotel, they and the staff at the hotel are very friendly and Bo Bo was very attentive to make sure everything was ok . We had a problem with the TV but it was sorted and replaced. The food here is home cooked , whilst there isn’t a huge variety of food , it is tasty. We were given a free bowl of fruit with each meal. You can see Angor Wat in the distance from the roof top (which is cool) and a sunrise from the rooftop is quite spectacular. What is especially nice about this place is the private pool , which after a long hot day visiting temples is a nice way to cool off. Another nice touch was allowing us the use of our room and pool after check out until our departure. We would definitely recommend staying and would again.
