Lovely outdoor pool. Water very warm. New spa facilities are very good but 30 min treatment definitely wasn't 30 minutes!

Had a fab time at this hotel . Great food and good ****** entertainment . The band entertainment started too late so we did not stay around for it . The outdoor pool needed a cover or some way of keeping leaves out of it . Beautiful flowers at hotel

We love this hotel, used to stay here regularly when working in the area, however haven’t visited for many years as we now don’t live so far away however as part of a longer trip decided to revisit and was delighted the service and hospitality are as top notch as they were 30 years ago. Had a great feeling of grandeur and service which sadly is so lacking in many hotels. The room was miden with everything we needed, lovely comfy bed, nice bathroom with super over bath shower. We ate dinner in the White Room and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the local wine from the extensive wine list. Parking was easy which is important in Sidmouth. Great stop over and I’m sure we’ll be back again very soon for a overnight escape.

Excellent hotel , we stayed in room 205 and this was lovely with a balcony overlooking the sea .. The service was fantastic in all areas , food was fabulous. I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed as a luxury special treat, it is a wonderful old hotel. The room we were given was a small seaview double. Its was so clean with a stunning view. The staff were all excellent. We had drinks in the bar,but did not dine. My husband used the spa,he was slightly disappointed. Also said lots of children ,which can detract from tranquility. However i would love to stay again,we were treated so very very well.

Hotel very clean and tidy. The room was very spacious and had a balcony with a table and chairs for sit out to enjoy the view. Lovely spa to enjoy when staying at this hotel. Restaurant very good and service very efficient.

Our group of 18 members from Soroptimist International Poole Purbeck and District and Soroptimist International Plymouth enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch. The choice was excellent - it was great to see such an extensive vegan menu - and the food both beautifully presented and beautifully cooked. Excellent, attentive service and lovely dining room. Thank you. The only hiccough was the invoice/payment. The member of staff who dealt with this didn't check whether we were paying as a group or individually, and wasn't aware that we'd paid a deposit. Fortunately, she rectified both issues swiftly. We look forward to dining at The Victoria again in 2025.
