If you're looking for a great location, outstanding food and service then this is the hotel for you. The single deluxe room was absolutely beautiful, very spacious and having a balcony with a great view of the sea was a bonus. I will most definitely return and thoroughly recommend.

A delightful one-night stay including a day at the Spa. Highlights include a wonderful massage, delicious lunch at Bertie's, a quiet sea-view room, and even hawk handling on the front lawn. Thankfully the sun was out so we could use the fabulous outdoor pool, otherwise the sea is incredibly close.

As usual the Victoria served us well . The facilities, cuisine with live band, with service from the friendly staff were all excellent. The location at this scenic seaside resort of Sidmouth is outstanding.

FIRST CLASS IN First class in every respect This was our first vist and we were not disappointed in any respect What particularly sets this Hotel apart is the Stafff. Friendly, professional nothing was to much trouble

Wonderful experience, the Staff are friendly and professional especially Ray the Doorman and Tom in the Lounge. The hotel is grand but not 'stuffy' the outdoor pool was open early as the weather was good and it was lovely and warm with a great outdoor space. The Spa was also lovely. We stayed in a Stateroom which comes with a balcony, the room is spacious and bright. It was our 25th Wedding Anniversary, which the restaurant noted with a chocolate Happy Anniversary on our desert plates, which was a lovely touch. Food, ambience and live music was excellent. We would not hesitate to return.

Excellent staff clean room Views drinks reasonable price's we were given a room on the promised that no filthy dogs has been in. Good parking. Easy book in. Everything you need for a weekend. Food Dire The cheapest hash brown. For a few more pence you can get nice ones. Dover sole like shoe leather. A waste of the king of fish.. obviously bought in frozen. You only has to sit in the car park to see that all the food comes off the back of vans. And to notice the type of kitchen workers. Shall visit again for the room and spa. When it is sensible price.

I stayed here as a child with fond memories of the hotel and area. I booked to return decades later with the intention of asking my partner the big questions… I phoned ahead of time and also put it in the booking and was advised the manager would phone me back… from then on it’s been radio silence On checkin in, the girl seemed a bit annoyed for some reason. The facilities and room where nice and the area is still beautiful as I remember it The lady at breakfast was nice and engaging with our daughters The outside pool is heated which was a bonus. The hotel is set up more for the older folk and if I was staying in the area with kids I’d probably look elsewhere
