Beyaz Saray Hotel

I stayed here with a friend for a week and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is neither too big nor too small, and it’s not located too close to the more touristed areas of Side which we liked. Easy to get to the beach or Old Town by taxi or bus, and both are very cheap (about 10 lira per person for bus and 100 lira for taxi). There are restaurants and shopping possibilities really close by. The rooms are fine with the basic necessities though it would have been nice with a mini fridge for fruits and water, some hooks for hanging bags and a shower curtain in the bathroom as the water gets everywhere. Air condition cost extra and was definitely necessary as it is never ever cold in Turkey in July! We had some issues with the warm water one night, but it was fixed within 15 minutes. The pool area is nice with some palm trees, sunbeds (no towel-claiming behavior when we were there) and the poolbar right next to the pool where you can buy food and drinks and get in the shade, when needed. Pool is a decent size also, and not too deep (1,4 meters with a separate child area). Breakfast is fine considering the price, but the food you can buy from the bar is better. All in all, it’s not a luxury hotel but we felt like we got good value for our money! Also the staff is very kind and we felt comfortable and welcome during our entire stay. If we decide to go to Side again, I would definitely consider visiting Beyaz Saray again
