Side Star Elegance Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive

We recently stayed at Side Star Elegance and while we had an enjoyable holiday overall, there are a few things that stopped it from being a five star experience. Firstly, it would be great to enjoy a single day by the pool without being approached multiple times by staff trying to sell massage packages, hairdressing, photography sessions or even tattoos. A polite offer at the start of the week is fine but being approached by different people day after day became quite intrusive. Another frustration was the entertainment around the pool, which seemed mainly geared toward those aged 16 and over. One day, they brought out a giant inflatable for the pool. Understandably, the kids were really excited. But to then be told it was for 16 plus only, and for it to be packed away right after the adults had finished, felt a bit unfair and poorly thought out. It also seemed ridiculous that all the adult games in the pool took place in the shallow end — the only part of the pool where most children, who were excluded due to their age, could actually stand. It made it difficult for families with younger children to enjoy that space during the activities. The rooms were fine. Nothing special, just what you’d expect from a standard three or four star hotel. Comfortable enough but not particularly memorable. That said, there were some real positives. The food was excellent throughout, with the fondu à la carte by the beach being a standout and absolutely delicious. The hotel was spotless, with staff always maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. A nice little touch was the fridges around the pool stocked with cans of pop and water, which were really handy and much appreciated in the heat. All in all, a good stay and we had a nice time but with a few small changes, it could have been so much better.

Worst hotel ive stayed in in Turkey.. so many better for the price.. this is like 4 hotels in one all thrown together in a maze with hidden doors and corridors built into a hill !! Food is ok .. definitely no real problem here. 1st major problem is that some of the staff are extremely rude.. ESPECIALLY IN the time out bar.. girl in the lovey bar very rude also. Hotel is geared towards Germans whi k make up around 90%. The hotel beach is nice and location is good. Entertainment is complete rubbish. All in all some parts are 3 star some 4 and some 5.. as said its like the hotel was thrown together as so many different part. Layout is ridiculous!! Would i return.. not a chance.. so much nicer hotels with friendly staff. Never seen so many unhappy faces !! Some places are fifty to .. 2.5/5 Sort your staff out !!
