I had problems arriving at the hotel on the first day. I had reserved a room for 2 people and paid for it. The worker behind the counter wanted to give me a room for 1 person. if you are a turk from abroad you should not even come near this hotel.

Just spent 12 wonderful days at the Box Maris resort. This is a very modern Hotel, very clean, well laid out and excellent staff. There is a great choice of food at every meal and many different ‘themed’ nights ensured plenty of variation. Food and drink are available in some form 24 hours a day. Dining room was kept spotless and during our stay we were looked after very well by Ozgul, a very friendly and helpful waitress. She got to know all the things our group liked and as soon as we entered the dining room she was already bringing our drinks for us. The beach is fantastic, only a 15 minute walk or if you prefer you can get a minibus every few minutes. Tareh the driver is very friendly and looks after you with help and advice. Entertainment in the evening was very impressive and enjoyable. Our only criticisms for this Hotel are; The aircon is preset and cannot be adjusted, The location of the Hotel could be better but saying that the shopping and the harbour are still within walking distance or a short taxi ride away. We also found the Bingo prizes very poor considering the amount of money that must have been collected. I.e. 20% of jewels at the shop, 2 photographs??.This was the top prize!!!!! There are bargains to be had at the local market on Saturdays however be prepared to haggle and stand your ground. Overall though we had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back here again.

Good points about hotel, the rooms are very nice with comfortable beds. Very clean, the housekeepers are great. You can walk into Side, about half an hour, or a very short bus ride. Staff a bit of a mixed bag as always, but Mirza in main restaurant was excellent. Very hard working and always friendly. Only real negative is the pool area is a bit cramped and because it's been built on a small plot not much in the way gardens or space, but that's the only real negative and only a small thing I suppose.

We are on the last day of our holiday here at Vox Maris. I have no bad word to say about this place. The staff are happy and friendly, the food is in abundance at meal times and in between there is always food available. The cleanliness of the whole place is outstanding, the pool area is kept spotless throughout the day. We have been here for 10days and the evening entertainment has not been repeated. Shuttle bus does the 4min ride to the beach every 10mins, with the jolliest of drivers. Absolute gem of a hotel

Otelin yeni yapılmış olması ve odalar büyük ve yatak konforluydu. Her gün yapılan temizlik, resepsiyonda gösterilen ilgi ve çalışanların gösterdiği ilgi memnun kaldık. На данный момент отдыхаем в этом отеле , из плюсов : питание на высшем уровне, разнообразие еды , свежие фрукты , десерты, никогда не останетесь голодным , еду предоставляют и на пляже и на бассейне , в любое время дня. До пляжа возят на автобусе каждые 10 мин , осень быстро , никогда не приходилось ждать автобус. Хорошие номера есть балкон. Из минусов : отель абсолютно не тянет на 5*. Дешевые пластиковые диспенсеры в ванной , ужасный фен, прикруженный к стене, который жжет волосы из-за высокой температуры , утюга нет и нет возможности его заказать , это платная услуга вместе со стиркой . В отеле где все включено в мини баре только вода , сок , пепси и пиво , нет другого алкоголя, нет снеков , шоколада . Такое увидела впервые за 10 лет в турции . Уборка номера посредственная , заменили полотенца и все . Что бы взять полотенца на пляж или к бассейну , нужно спуститься в спа , странно что в 5* отеле нет стойки полотенец прямо на пляже или у бассейна , учитывая что в отеле 300+ номеров и отель переполнен гостями , было бы удобнее сделать эту функцию более доступной . Маленькая посадка в ресторане , на ужин придется поискать себе стол есть прийти чуть позже открытия . Любителям хорошего кофе точно не сюда , На пляже кроме местного вина и пива нет алкоголя , коктейли они делать вообще не умеют . Есть анимация , игры к бассейна и на пляже . В целом не плохой отель , но если вы хотите отдохнуть в хорошей 5* то не рекомендую этот отель

We visited the hotel at the turn of May and June. The hotel is new, pleasant, clean. The rooms are a bit small, especially I don't understand why there is an extra bed next to the double bed in these rooms? Totally taking up space. Service is ok. The problem is the lack of space by the pool (so many sunbeds next to each other that you can forget about any privacy). The beach is also cramped and there are few sunbeds, despite the fact that the hotel was not full. Very average food. Sometimes the dishes are tasty (e.g. fresh squid, shrimp - once a week!! but they were there! :), gözleme on the beach), but sometimes they are weak and inedible (burgers, dried fish from the grill). Despite the large selection of starters, everything is in the same style. The grill by the pool could be cleaned, because you can feel it in the food, especially in the fish. I also rate the bars very poorly. The beach bar is a misunderstanding: they poured water into the wine in front of the customers, the bartender probably forgot to add alcohol to the mojito, whiskey is there occasionally. Generally, bars serve mainly local alcohol, unless you ask for imported. And the imported ones are so heavily watered down that in the drinks you basically drink carbonated drinks with a touch of alcohol. The bartender in the lobby has no idea what he is serving (according to him, white Russian is vodka with whipped cream on ice):)))) BTW: imported alcohol is of low quality, so if someone expects some sophisticated items, they will be very disappointed. I give a positive rating to the Food Stop with waffles and ice cream and the bar with sandwiches and coffee/tea in the lobby. Super fresh bread and vegetables at any time of day. We also used the spa (hammam, saunas, massages) and I highly recommend it.
