Super 8 by Wyndham Sicamous

Wonderful stay, nice breakfast, clean rooms, polite personnel.

Nice hotel, comfortable beds, excellent location. Room could have been cleaner, found a cigarette butt on the bathroom floor.

Very clean space, beds comfortable. Parking was a mess. Day before Canada day, the pub was packed with visitors and we were told to use the disabled parking from the pub. No chance.Great size room but the door didn't fit the frame. Large enough to let in quite a breeze or a mouse if it had wanted, not that I saw a mouse).

My basic needs were all met. Quite satisfactory. The only issue I had was the common dinning area had only two tables. But I really like the place and setting.

This Super 8 needs renovating and upgrading. Furniture is old, and old window a/c. Bed looks comfortable but I haven't slept in it yet. Room appears clean. Excellent location with excellent food at the pub next door and nice walking distance to boat launch, downtown and all waterfront.

We have been traveling for 12hr from Vancouver island when a staff member called asking for our arrival time. I told them 1-1.30 hrs (that was at 9pm), one hour later at 10pm they called me AGAIN and said “so, what time are you getting here?”. I asked if there’s a problem bc it felt pushy and unnecessary. They said they’re waiting just for us in the lobby. Alright, but it’s a hotel/motel or whatever they identify as. We can arrive at any time on the same calendar day as long as it’s after check in time. It felt like the staff member was doing me a favour for staying till 10 pm. The room was hot, stuffy and the air conditioner was super loud, making it nearly impossible to sleep or even breathe comfortably. Overall, not a welcoming or restful experience. Wouldn’t stay here again
