I got a chance to see the sunset here, which was really wonderful.
The facilities here are great, not too crowded, and the breakfast and dinner are satisfactory. It is only a few minutes drive to the city center. This is the only hotel with a beach in Apia.

Greatly disappointed with our stay. We had booked and paid for a 7 night stay in the Superior Garden View Villa but could only stand staying 1 night. The room highly lacked maintenance, a poor water supply (low pressure and NO hot water) and extremely loud cooling devices which resulted in a sleepless night. Smoke alarms were missing from the room, lamp wires were twisted together and had electrical tape all over them, mould was in the bottom of the water jug in the fridge the list goes on and on. Food was average at best for what you paid and for service was even worse with having to wait over 50minutes for a dessert at dinner and an hours long wait for 1 omelette at breakfast. Staff were not interested in helping us solve these issues nor offered us an alternative room so we decided to check out early and return to our previous accommodation. We sent an email to Sinalei outlining the issues and have had no response which confirms their lack of care for their clients. Definitely does not stand up to it’s claim of being “Samoas #1 luxury resort” on their website.

We spent a day here. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, there was a dead mouse on the stairs, which was rather off putting. The lunch was good. The beach, however, was not enjoyable. At low tide there is so little water. And while sitting in the beach, dogs constantly pestered us. We were glad we weren’t staying here.

Recently stayed here for 2 nights and sadly I totally agreed with other reviews regarding maintenance issues they need to address in order to gain 4 or 5 star status Great location, ground is well maintained and the staff are welcoming but need more training.

Hôtel correct mais chambres vieillottes et en manque d’entretien. Toilettes et douche extérieures donc un séjour dans cette zone et vous devenez un buffet a moustiques. Produit demandé que nous attendons encore … coffre HS qui attend encore lui aussi d être réparé … soirée spectacle vous payez le repas et payez le spectacle; et si comme nous vous venez juste pour voir quelques instants on vous incitera à vous asseoir et au moment de repartir la facture arrive sans que vous ayez été prévenu en amont 🤨 pas très honnête … Repas bien, plage agréable mais peu de transats, piscine idem. Pas mal mais globalement il reste donc beaucoup de boulot, un hôtel ce n est pas que l’implantation !

We were staying at a nearby resort but decided to try this over the water restaurant and we’re happy. The food was first class with friendly Samoan hospitality. See one photo with a group watching the turtle feeding going up and down, then we had the rainbow in the background. We were invited back for the banquet and fire show the following night. The rainstorm chained that idea so maybe next time. With suitable weather a lovely place to dine, cheers from Ballarat VIC
