Lift needs to be improved..it needs to be upgraded because lift is too old and weird sound..overall is okay only lift needs to be improved..

I recently stayed at Thistle Hotel ] for short vacation, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel had excellent facilities, friendly staff, and a great location.

We had a very enjoyable time here. Everything was good about this hotel. Friendly staff. We were greeted by the friendly bellman at the parking lobby. They helps to send our luggage and belonging in front of our room. The check in process also fast. The room completely equip with all the necessities needed. They have fridge, iron & iron board. We had a pleasant stay at deluxe room facing the pool & seaview! We can catch a beautiful sunset from our room☺️. My kid enjoy the kidspool so much! They have few pools (kidspool and adult pool with different depth, the deepest is 2.5m). You can also enjoy their private beach. As it is private so only the hotel guest can have the access to the beach. The beach also beautiful and clean. We stayed here on new year eve and they even have fireworks at 12am! We can directly enjoy the fireworks from our balcony☺️. However it is quite noisy since there are families singing karaoke celebrating new year but ya dont really mind it since it is new year eve. Everyone wants to have happy moments. The only cons things is their breakfast. They serve variety of food but the taste is so-so. The beriyani chicken was salty and other menu also not reaching the 5-star hotel standard. The potato wedges for kids was really salty. I refrain my kid from eating the wedges. But the good things they have kids corner during breakfast. Overall my rate is 9/10☺️ Repeat again? Definitely YES☺️

Pleasant hotel stay with my family. Kids friendly, the pool is huge & the beach is very near.. just a minute walk & my kids can enjoy the beach. Will stay again next time

Still lots of sand in the room. Overall was ok. A hotel I spent lots of time with my beloved dad years ago, now it’s with my kids.

Beautiful resort to relax with family, nice and clean room Breakfast was good...lot of varieties. The receptionist is friendly and helpful. Will stay again the next time we vacation in PortDickson. 😊

The room is ok, no carpet, old style room and clean, strong air conditioning.. the room is quite big, breakfast is also delicious, many choices, the swimming pool is also clean.. close to the beach..

We are here because of my daughter's swim competition..lift only 1 for 1 block so most of the time we have to use stairs..however stairs are very dirty its like you are walking thru a garbage room..most of the amenities you need to pay..such as game room and even floats!! Hahaha...the only good things is their breakfast..oklah 4/5...

During my recent stay, I had mixed experiences. While the hotel has some excellent features, there are areas that require significant improvement to meet its 5-star rating. The Good: The outdoor facilities were a highlight. The pools were well-maintained, clean, and offered varying depths to cater to both children and adults, making it enjoyable for families. The private beach was another standout feature—exclusive to hotel guests and pleasantly uncrowded, providing a serene environment for relaxation. Additionally, the breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of dishes that catered to different tastes and preferences. Areas for Improvement: Unfortunately, the room conditions fell far short of expectations for a 5-star hotel. The room appeared outdated and lacked cleanliness. The tiled flooring resembled car porch tiles, and some areas were mouldy and unclean. The furniture was in poor condition, with doors falling apart, and the bed linen and pillowcases had an unpleasant odor. The bathroom was particularly disappointing, with no exhaust fan to manage the dampness, leading to a persistent unpleasant smell. The mismatched toilet seat and bowl were unsightly, and the towels also carried an odor. Overall, the room felt less comfortable and presentable than those in many 3-star establishments. The amenities in the room also need attention. The TV remote control was difficult to operate, and the ironing board surface was torn, which detracted from the overall experience.

Had lovely time, some of the staff were amazing, especially our doorman who gave us so many useful tips for our stay. Pool and beach were really great!

Weekend getaway with my bestie at this resort. The check-in was a tad slow, but it wasn't a big problem. The room with 2 single beds had a good view of pool and beach. Beds were really comfy, and we got a really good rest at night. Though the soundproof could be better as we were surprised that we could hear the loud singing from the bar. Rooms were quite clean, though some areas could improve. The ironing board cover was damaged when we entered the room, though we didn't use it. The breakfast buffet quality tasted good, but variety is kinda lacking for a 5-star hotel. But for the price that we paid, i believe it is appropriate. The hotel has a large swimming pool and direct access to the beach that has less crowd. We had a really nice stroll along the beach in the morning and evening.

Thistle Hotel Port Dickson is a wonderful getaway with a fantastic location. The beach and swimming pool are major highlights, offering a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I especially loved the thrilling water activities like the donut ride and banana boat, which added a lot of fun to my stay. The ATV experience was also great, though I would have preferred a longer off-road duration to fully enjoy the adventure. As for the accommodation, while the hotel room is a bit old, it is clean and well-maintained, so I had no issues with it. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back again. A great destination for a fun-filled and relaxing holiday!

Beautiful place ... enjoy my day ..will come again ..calm and peaceful place in PD ..cofee house staff all very friendly.. receptionist suriani is very fast and helpful.

Very nice hotel. Everything looks perfect for me. Love the nasi lemak kambing during breakfast.
