The room was standard Hilton. Ski in ski out, and have very convenient shuttle services to connect with other resorts. Staffs are very nice and professional, a well balanced global team make passengers from different places feel like home.
One the other light worth to mention was the TEA ceremony holds by a tea master from Kyoto. Since Hokkaido was famous because it’s dairy products, i didn’t expect run into such a thing here. The tea master really puts a lot of thought into how to make the guests feel the authentic Japanese tea culture. The process wasn’t too complicated for foreigners to follow, and it will amazingly put you in a zen peace mode, like a sort of meditation. Worth to stop by if you stay there.

I would like to share a few words with you about our feeling of coming back to your Park Hyatt Hanazono hotel from 29/3/2024 to 3/4/2024. We are beginners of skiing, therefore, our first choice is a ski-in and ski-out hotel. Therefore, last year we came to your hotel and we came back again for further improvement of our skiing. We travelled a long way from the airport to your hotel for almost over 3 hours. However, we didn't receive a warm welcome from your hotel by the time we got out of our car. By the time we checked-in, the handling time took much longer than I expected, maybe we all felt tired after long travelling and wanted to go up to our room. Another guest who was sitting next to me seemed to complain about your service to another staff..
When we arrived at our room, only 3 mandarins were put on the table to welcome us but they did not look very attractive.
Next morning, the breakfast was as good as last year, because nothing more had changed. But again, not very welcoming. Our dishes were piling up on the table long before they were taken away. That was not the case last year.
We asked guest service to fold up the sofa bed as we wanted it to be more spacious. However, I called several to get it done when we came back from skiing in the evening. But we clearly said we could do it when we were out in the daytime.
We booked 2 adults and 1 child, however, we could only find 3 adult clothes for onsen. We called guest service to provide us with child cloth for onsen. However, after tidying up, they provided us with another 3 sets of clothes for onsen again. So, my daughter wore oversized clothes to the onsen. It was not like this when we first came here last year.
Luckily, on the third day, we met a new and young manager during breakfast, we received a warm welcoming smile for the first time. We chatted for a while and my daughter felt happy with him. Last year, my daughter made some friends here with your staff and learnt some Japanese from your staff. That made her like the Japanese culture and language.
Ironically, after folding up the sofa bed, they mistakenly mixed up my daughter white colored soft toy - cinnamoroll - with the bed sheets for the laundry. Luckily, maybe with the help of the young guy, we found it back. My daughter was so delighted, thanks for all your efforts, but however, the soft toy had been shrunk by the laundry machine.
The inner tubing was one of our favors in Park Hyatt Hotel, however, it looked obscenity and did not match with the natural scenery and the well-designed architecture surroundings at all. It looked like a facility in a developing country.
Next Easter holiday was a late holiday, maybe no more snow for skiing. Originally we had planned to come again with whole families of six for skiing. Maybe it is high time for us to look for another ski-in ski-out hotel, though I have promised the young guy to meet him next year.

Great stay if one has a relatively generous budget $$ to experience Japanese hospitality, a slightly more luxurious feel of a holiday. Hospitality, housekeeping, sauna, and the buffet dinner was excellent! Views from the rooms looking out into Lake Toya was also no doubt magnificent! Great views across the lake for avid joggers in the morning!

We were greeted warmly at the front desk by Taito (cute Japanese boy who speaks good english with a Thai accent! I mean this as a compliment). Was pleasantly surprised when he allowed us to check in even though we were 2 hours early. Shortly after entering our room, Taito personally knocked on the door to give us some items which my parents requested. He was also standing out there in the bright sun to say goodbye when we were loading our luggages into the rental car after checking out. I rate Taito's service and attitude: 5 Stars!!!
Room had a kitchen with full set of appliances, utensils and crockery. Fridge had drinks, juices, milk, butter, jam, and even sausages for cooking. And there was a basket with cereal, apples, banana and 2 loaves of bread for our breakfast needs.
Overall, this was a very nice and enjoyable stay.
The only gripe I have is that the hotel did not allow me to make any change to my dates (not sure why as it was late April and not peak ski-ing season), even though I offered to make another booking first before cancelling(have done this sort of arrangement with other hotels in Hokkaido so I know it's possible).
It would have been perfect if the hotel can offer some flexibility to their guests. After all, plans do change due to various reasons. Hope to be back in future and see that they're more flexible the next time round. Till then, thank you and cheers =)

hotel location is the best, in the centre of the daily night fireworks to view directly from hotel lobby. onsen at level 9 is the best, outdoor soaking at night with steam and daytime soaking experience are both perfect experience. breakfast and dinner are buffet style so you can choose your own dishes but both days breakfast and dinner dishes are the same. travel to hell valley using public bus directly outside the hotel and at toya train station is also very easy to navigate. highly recommend this hotel. only bad thing is aircon not working and need to open windows for air circulation and window is very big so not safe for children when sleeping at night. mattress on single bedframe is very lousy. sleeping on tatami is much more comfy. didn't bath using room bathroom because of the fabulous onsen. can rent yukata for free and return before 10am next day. has bingo game at night before fireworks to keep us occupied.

The best choice for those who want to see snow and play in the snow but not ski in Niseko. The hotel is very quiet. There are only 18 rooms. The room you book includes breakfast and dinner. There are ********* service staff who can speak Chinese. Once you arrive at the hotel, they will give you a detailed introduction to the arrangements for breakfast and dinner and hotel details. Breakfast is a 2-choice Chinese/Western set meal, and dinner has Japanese Sukiyaki/Western choices (four adults chose 2 Sukiyaki and 2 Western dishes, which were very delicious).
The room is 75 square meters, and the design is very user-friendly. There is even a washing machine in each room. You can see the snow scenery of Mt. Yotei by opening the balcony door. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery while soaking in the hot spring. It is really worth staying for 1-2 nights.
The hotel also has 24-hour tea and refreshments in the lobby. There is also a Japanese-made handicraft area for sale.
There is a large area of snow just outside the hotel, and children can have a lot of fun.
In short, it is a very memorable and recommended Japanese inn.

The hotel's breakfast and dinner are very attentive. Among so many hotels with meals, this one is the best. Well, except for the only advantage, the others are all bad reviews. First of all, the hotel's hot spring is open to day-return guests after 4 pm every day, so the outdoor pool is very large but it will also be crowded with Australians, and these Australian guests are very rough in using the hot spring, so the sanitary conditions of the entire hot spring are average; secondly, there is an older man as a waiter in the restaurant. When I met him the first day, I found that when he served the dishes to each table, he put down the tableware with great force, which was equivalent to throwing, and even spilled the soup. At first I thought it was because of his old age. Later, one day at breakfast, I met a mother and daughter from Shanghai. Because the mother's legs were inconvenient and they couldn't use the Japanese table, they asked to change the table. The waiter took the tableware to the new table very badly. I realized that he was not old but did it on purpose ☺️ The price is reasonable, the meal is excellent, and the rest is equivalent to no service

The room is very new and very good, with a living room and a washing machine, suitable for family trips, and the view outside the window is also very good! Breakfast is a bit far from Rusutsu Resort, and it is not very delicious. The cafe downstairs in the hotel has few varieties, sandwiches, cookies, and coffee. The 7-11 convenience store is a bit far away from the resort across the road. It is quite convenient for us to have a car, but it is not so convenient if we go too late. There is nothing around, so we can only play in the resort. There is nothing delicious. We drove to Niseko for dinner, which takes about 50 minutes. If you have a car, you can also go to the big supermarket in Kutchan Prefecture, which takes more than 10 minutes to drive from Niseko. Eating is much cheaper. But this hotel is worth coming. You can sit in the living room and enjoy the snow scenery for a whole day.

Very Good
GGuest UserThis is a family trip for two adults and two kids. And we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, bfast and dinner included.
It's apparent in the booking that we will have kids in the stay, and yet either Trip.com/hotel charged us meals for 4 adults for the entire trip. We ended up overpaying A LOT and wasting A LOT of food because the kids couldn't finish the set meal. Yet the hotel refused to adjust / refund. This was a serious mistake made by Trip.com / hotel.
The hotel provided shuttle bus to the ski resort. Good that there was early shuttle bus around 815am BUT the return shuttle was way too early (4pm) for any serious skiers. The hotel should offer more options.
There was no gym in the hotel and difficult to do some proper full-body exercise.
Onsen set up was nice and clean and tidy. The public onsen wasn't used much so it ended up a big private onsen for us.
We like the traditional Japanese cusine but very disappointed that the chef provided limited changes on the menu during our 7 nights of stay. We spent roughly same number of nights elsewhere in Niseko and the design of their menu was way better.
Staff in general was very helpful and friendly and some of them spoke English and Chinese.
The hotel was short of staff IMO. I could see them running around in the hotel.
The ski equipment room could be equipped with better facility to dry ski boots and gloves.
Shuttle bus was only offered to Niseko but not Kutchan station which was in fact not too far away anyway.
The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was great too. It's 10mins from the Niseko station and 5mins from annupuri ski run.
GGuest UserThis was my third stay at The Maples, and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. This time I came with just my boyfriend instead of with family, so handled most of the logistics myself. I really relied on help from the staff and The Maples, before, during and after my trip! Even a month before my trip, I got a lot of help with transportations, ski passes etc through emailing with the staff, who were always so prompt to reply and very friendly. During my stay, they also helped me a lot with dinner reservations etc. Every request or question I had was met with a friendly smile.
Of course, I enjoyed the location again immensely. It was great to be able to walk to many of the stores and restaurants, and to also ski in and out. This time I also rented a car and parking at the Maples was always available and easy.
The hotel was always bright and clean. My onlyyyy complaint if I had to mention was that my room did not have black out curtains... so I was woken up pretty early every morning by the natural sunlight!! But, this actually helped me to get up there on the slopes bright and early, so a perk after all!
SSalamiyeahI recently had the pleasure of staying at INTUITION NISEKO during my trip to Niseko, and I can’t recommend it enough! The hotel is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Whether it was help with my luggage or in-room facilities , they made me feel truly valued as a guest.
The accommodations were spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Especially the sofa, I even asked for the brand name that I would like to buy a same one for my home. Super thanks to Dorothy for the info she provided! Moreover, I loved waking up to the serene snowy landscape outside my window!
If you're looking for a fantastic place to stay in Niseko, INTUITION is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return!
GGuest UserLocation! Location! Location ! In-out ski is amazing ! Your own locker access is super convenient. changing room - washroom are available right by the locker area. Onsen ( hot bath ) is super nice with the beautiful outdoor tree view. So refreshing after a day of skiing. Buffet is tasty with variety choices. Love to come back again and again.
GGuest UserLovely big room with a sitting area as well. Bathroom was huge with separate toilet area. Bathrobes n slippers were provided. We can actually see the lake and the fireworks from the room. No food provided but there’s a vending machine.
There’s a beautiful restaurant to have breakfast at the junction of the road leading up to the hotel with a beautiful garden and grounds.
It’s about 20 min downhill to the town but it’s worth the drive. There’s a Seicomart in town as well with ample free parking.
WwaynethepaintTrip.com has always been my go to for travel bookings. Similarly this time to Niseko, decided to extend for an additional week and MyEcolodge came up in the search.
I have to mention the checkin was seamless, but what I thought i booked, vastly differ from what was allocated for me. I thought what i booked was a room to myself however it turns out as a shared room. Its not a big deal but the feeling of misinterpretation leaves an awful taste.
(Trip.com CS stepped in and helped to clarify things but theres nothing that could be done. peak season, and everywhere else is fully booked or without paying a premium)
That said, the stay was good. MyEcolodge sits in a very convenient location just couple stops from Hirafu. Theres various buses including free shutters so thats really an ease off the mind)
7eleven, a small cafe, hotpot/shabushabu restaurant just sits across from you. The hostel also has their own cafeteria though ive never eaten there (food looks good though).
They have a huge storage room for your gears, pretty safe so no worries. pantry, laundry room, washroom are pretty spacious and kept tidy.
The room itself is fine, nothing to wow about. nothing to complain either. Towels are free and clean. Everything else you need to pay.
Overall good stay.
Pray hard you get nice room mates if youre sharing!
LLeong FamilyThe staff are not knowledgeable on 3rd party ski hire or ski school. We returned the equipment 1 day earlier and the staff said ok and asked if we are fine with 50% refund. We said yes. The next day they said they never said this.....no English, and don't ask questions, they will not be able to answer. They are well mannered and kind, just no direction and very messy.
Bus schedule is also confusing, staff are not clear and busses don't often come without calling and reminding. They say it is due to weather condition, but it wasn't.
You need to book set menu dinners at their one and only restaurant, 3 days in advance. We missed the Christmas set dinner, and even though on the phone to reserve the table, we asked for set menu, they didn't decline and they didn't say we needed 3 day advance notice. So we went and ordered small alacarte meals. Small dishes but were absolutely delicious.
Hot Spring facility is excellent. Rooms are clean and the layout is fantastic. They have a washing machine that dries as well. Bring your own laundry detergent
But I must give 100% credit to them as we left our bag at the lobby and they arranged to send it to Tokyo for us and called the receiving hotel as well,.
CChee KwanHotel is old but rooms are huge and functional. Reception is a little cold. Parking is free and comes with onsen. It is located beside lake Toya and we had a chance to see the fireworks at night.
JJessyTThe plus point of this hotel is the outdoor mixed gender onsen.
The location is inconvenient, although there is shuttle bus provided but limited time slot. There is no convenience store or restaurant nearby.
I was advised the late check out rate at ¥3300 per hour but I was confused when 1 of the staff advised another guest at ¥2200 per hour. Why double standard? I guess maybe it depends on the room type?
GGuest UserThe location is the best which just one minute walking distance to the bus terminal to/from Toya Station and in front of the ferry pier. Please see my photo. Perfect location. The front desk receptionist lady was friendly. I was placed to a lake view Japanese style room. It doesn't include shower but toilet in the room and it looks like old but I love the room. The view from the room's window to Lake Toya was excellent. I love my room's window can be opened, I could see more clear to the lake view and to have fresh air from outside by opening the window. Even it was a raining day, cloudy and frosty. The view is still spotless good. The service was good. The room was clean, tidy and come with all necessity, but bath/shower excluded. However, based on the price, I was happy with it because I don't mind to use the bathroom in the onsen area on floor one. There was only two down side that I found: First, the male onsen area floor was sticky and slippery with moss (My left hand accidentally touched it and my hand was sticked with moss in outdoor onsen area) that includes indoor and outdoor area. I wish they would take more effort to the cleanliness of onsen area. Second, the suana was not available for customer to use. However, I had a fantastic sauna and onsen in 万世閣 (a hotel where is just a few minutes walk away from Toya Grand Hotel) by a paying walk in onsen fee(1300 yen) for non-resident.
