This was our accommodation on the eve of the start of our four day trek from Mestia to Ushguli. We dined - the usual Georgian smorgasbord including beef stew - under a wood canopy with great views of the surrounding mountains. The host plied us with some local grappa. The room was comfortable with a small balcony and powerful hot shower. A hearty breakfast set us up for the day and we left with a lunch box.

Excellent

Excellent holiday. Accommodation, hospitality, room furnishings, food - all top notch. We were satisfied with everything, both the location of the hotel and the inaccessibility of this area of Georgia for non-mobile tourists. A homely welcome, unobtrusiveness, a desire to please and to do everything to make the vacationers comfortable. For all this, many thanks to the owners of this hotel!

Excellent

We had a very nice stay here. It is a new and comfortable, modern hotel. The food is really good so we ate here most nights. The view from our room over the river to the Mestia towers is lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The design is nice and the room is quiet except for the sound of the river :) As it is a new hotel, there are some small improvements they can make: for a 4 star hotel it needs a higher cleaning standard. Bathroom and floor were a bit shabby and didn’t feel properly cleaned after the previous guest. Room listed a tv but it was missing (just a bracket on the wall). Bedside lamps are needed - only one main ceiling light which is too bright for relaxing and reading in the evening. Otherwise a great stay! I would stay here again.
