The guesthouse is located a moderate walk from the city centre but you can take the tram (if you can negotiate the faulty ticket-purchase system). Owner is friendly and helpful. Guests may use the kitchen to prepare breakfast etc. The place is clean and the wi-fi works.

GGuest UserGreat hotel with really nice large and bright every clean rooms . Bathrooms were very clean and had toiletries available. Ladies at reception were absolutely wonderful . From speaking English better than most Native American speakers to being full of information and happiness they were great . Great secure bicycle storage . Within 5km. of the Ferry from Aarhus to Sealand . Straight shot on our bicycles . Very good breakfast and many very good restaurants within walking distance for dinner .

GGuest UserBest way to describe this hotel is it is functional, not fancy. Everything you need for a short stay is available and they do advertise the rooms as ”industrial” look (i.e. unfinished ceiling). Check-in is only available via kiosk even if an attendant is available at the front desk. The elevator is 2-door style. WiFi connectivity was reasonable and TV was operational. Convenient that a small table with chairs is in the room and overall was spacious enough for 4 of us. Pros: free parking - close to many supermarkets and also the mall Cons: the curtains do not block out the sun sufficiently. Given the long the sun is up in summer, we had to improvise and clip the curtains together to get any blackout effect. For our specific room, the bed sheet had a stain on it (looks like it remained from an earlier wash). For a quick bite, try the Pølsevognen Viby Torv in the park across the street.

IizzymengThe hotel is located right in the centre of the old town of Aarhus, a stone throw from the Domkirke. There is no off-street parking available but you could always use the Navitas car park or even the amazing Dokk1 Parkering in the docks. The handsome stucco façade stands out in the locality and the owners took great care in tastefully decorating the interior of the building, that includes its historical elevator, wall paintings and the reception area. Therefore, it’s a bit of shame that the same has not been extended to ensure the comfort of its guests. Our Standard Room was overlooking the main square but it was rather dark and not very spacious, with a classic décor. The lighting was limited with the main switch not working – side lights had to be turned on individually. There was precious little storage space as only about a third of the wardrobe was available and no other appropriate closets/drawers around. There was a rather high step between the bedroom and bathroom, just ideal for tripping on, in the dark! The bed was quite uncomfortable, with a very thin foam mattress and topped with a smallish duvet. The TV set was on the side of the bed (!) and programmes were only available if you had a suitably tuned smartphone device. We’re all for the options being offered to tech-savvy travellers but surely there has to be easier access for those guests who are less clued-in? The bathroom was of standard size, with a walk-in shower. The hairdryer had to be plugged in by the mirror, above the bathroom sink (there was literally nowhere else to do so, with a mirror!), so not quite sure about the safety aspect of such an arrangement. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. There was a safe-box but it was not working despite the valiant efforts of one of the receptionist. WiFi signal was good. Tea and coffee facilities were offered as well as a frugally stocked minibar. No free water was available. The breakfast was quite limited with a minimal selection of cold dishes and even less cooked food, available. The bread was very tasty. The hotel doesn’t provide dinners. The staff in the reception and the breakfast room were very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. They couldn’t do enough for us and always responded with a smile. Overall, it felt like the hotel has lots of potential although lots of that seems to have been squandered on half-baked ideas. Good enough to stay in as long as you don’t expect fireworks.

GGuest UserThe hospitality and service of the reception was great. The room is comfortable. Although it is not spatious, the light and very practical arrangement makes it a comfortable stay with just wat I needed. THe only thing that puzzled me was the arrangement of the lights and the buttons. There are a lot of different lights and each section can be seprately controlled. Most from the bedsite, except the main light above the desk. Other than that, everything else was excellent!

GGuest UserAfter Arriving in Denmark from Vietnam for a business trip, this hotel was a stone through from the office where I was going to be spending the next 10 days in Aarhus, Denmark. The Hotel is modern, functional and clean, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was perfect, the staff were always attentive and my overall experience during my stay was excellent. The hotel is somewhat outside of the town of Aarhus, but a small frequent train/tram service is literally a few hundred meters walk from the hotel... the hotel as a small bar where you can enjoy a nice cold pint of Danish Beer!!!

GGuest UserV central location, less than 10-mins walk from rail station. Rooms are basic & bathrooms are small. Beds comfortable. Staff very efficient (& speak excellent English if that is important). Be aware though that rooms overlooking the river also overlook the late-night bars on the opposite bank, & these are noisy until 0100/0200 each night.

But the service is very good and the breakfast is very good.
The overall price of Denmark is very high,
The price/performance ratio of two minutes walk from the train station is still ok.

YYANThe flight was delayed, the hotel arrived in the early morning, the front desk was very nice. Because I dragged two big boxes, it was very hot when I arrived, and my face was red, and I specially sent a small fan to the room, because the Danish hotel is not air-conditioned!

I had hoped for a room on the upper floors as I feel the least disturbed, but unfortunately it was sold out so I got a room on the ground floor, which was annoying as guests walk past the room and look in all the time. So not much privacy in the room.
I think the room lacked a hair dryer and electric kettle, and maybe an air conditioner or similar on the hot days.
Breakfast was fine. There could well have been more options.
