Nice hotel a short walk/bus ride from the city centre. Clean and comfortable rooms that have been refurbished in recent years. Typical buffet breakfast, friendly staff. Only minor issue is the hotel restaurant and bar remains closed, however there are plenty options locally.

Wonderfully friendly and helpful host. Easy, convenient and safe parking. Delightfully decorated room with warm beds and nice clean bathroom. Everything worked like a charm. Super easy access. Right by a walking path that goes down to the river and park area. Added bonus that the bakery across the street serves life-changing breakfast.

I had booked a week for work, and this looked like a pleasant location, and I arrived late and no one was told to receive me, so no surprise, and the night box with the key worked well. But then, my room number, I had no information about it, fortunately I had a phone number, a friendly lady on the other side of the line lighted me in my number on the key hanger, and I had not yet looked at it. I didn't expect this information to be on the key, so to the room, this was small, and the shower area was small, a pleasant, well sleeping double bed that was. There was a coffee machine and there was a bottle of water. The salts there were on payment, and a TV with a number of broadcasts, unfortunately almost all German broadcasts, and there was a double box, with one sliding door, so not closed. There was no breakfast in the first morning because it had to be informed in advance. Also that was no problem, there were options near. Furthermore, no more effort made to breakfast here, The garage of the hotel is not a luxury. I used it 1 night, because it is not easy to get in or out without damage (1m60 narrow entrance and also in the garage minimally in space). The floors cracked, but the night was calm. 1 Older lady of staff was very helpful and friendly. I'm sorry, but I was expecting something more, I got a box of chocolates before Christmas.

GGuest UserThis modern hotel backs on to Bonn main railway station, a few minutes walk from the tourist sites in the centre of town, and on the edge of a lovely historic residential district which includes the botanic gardens which are well worth visiting. There is a ”green” supermarket next door to the hotel, and a good bakery across the road. So an excellent location overall. Rooms are quite spacious, beds comfortable, large TV. No coffee making facilities. One gets a Bonn travel card for the duration of one's stay: which is a nice addition. The one significant downside is that one does hear quite a bit of noise from the trains and the station. More than in some other hotels we have stayed in that back on to railway stations. My partner slept well, I did not. Freight trains went past every 15 minutes or so throughout the night. Bizarrely, when I had asked on the first day about a possible room change to the road side of the building (10 euros more, to *business class”) I was told there were no trains at night! Would I stay again if visiting Bonn? Probably yes. I would try the rooms on the road side.

GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for three nights in April 2022 during a family & friends reunion trip in my old hometown. Our Junior Suite # 107 was comfortable with scenic views on the river Rhine. One could have just sit on his bed and stare out of the window for hours. Sleeping quality was excellent and the bathroom - though on the smaller side - spotlessly clean. What we missed was a small shelf in bathroom, which could be easily installed above the toilet for example. Now we had to keep our wash bags on the desk in the room, what is not really convenient. Also towels are a bit small and there are no bigger ones available - even on request. The room itself is functional, sufficiently clean, however, a little more attention to detail is recommended, mainly the floor would need some more intense cleanup prior to arrival next time. Breakfast was ok, not exceptional, but what you can expect from a 4* city hotel. Service was friendly. The location is one of a kind, super central in one of Bonn's nicest parts, calm, but still sufficiently close to many sights and attractions. The city centre with its pittoresque pedestranian area and the univeristy are right next door or just a few minutes walk away. Another big plus was the staff, especially Mrs. Müller and the receptionist from Columbia, who went above and beyond to make our stay the most convenient. We didnt manage to dine in the Olveto restaurant, since we had pre-organised dinners every evening, but will attempt to manage next time. The garage at 18 € per night may appear pricey to some, but it is definitely worth it, given how difficult it is to find a parking space in this area of Bonn. Overall, we had a very good stay, the views, the gentle staff and location prevail over the few small caveats we encountered during our visit. Whenever we come back to Bonn for an overnight stay, we will try to get a room at the Hotel Königshof, again.

I stayed here for Fedcon 2023. It’s a massive hotel, perfectly made for conventions and conferences. My room was nice although it felt a little dated in it’s style. The air-con worked really well and I did love the shower. However there was no kettle or complimentary bottled water which are both standard in most hotels these days. The pillows were also too soft for me but that is a matter of personal preference. I loved the convenience of staying there for the convention. The buffet breakfast and dinners were great in variety and value. Having a water fountain or some sort of access to free water for conference/convention guests would be a great addition to the hotel as it was a really warm weekend and dehydration was a real concern. The vending machines couldn’t cope and the queues for the cafe were often long. You could buy water at reception but €3 per 500ml bottle is extortionate. The staff however were great and I do have to praise the staff attending the toilets all weekend as they were kept to a high standard for the 2000 people at the event the entire time. Overall it is a great hotel, just missing a few bits to make it excellent for me.

GGuest UserThis Marriott is located near the river, with nie walking paths nearby. It is easy to drive to, on the outskirts of the city of Bonn, and very near a metro station. The parking garage is large and easy to navigate. There are no nearby resturants (other than the overpriced one in the hotel)....a Vapianos and one other place, named ”Different” are the next closest at about a 15-20 minute walk away and no grocery stores close enough to easily walk to. This is our second stay here and in both cases Lieferando orders took FOREVR to get to us and involved lost drivers. We saw two other guest parties having similar delivery issues this stay. The front desk staff are very friendly and professional. Check in and out went smoothly. The executive lounge is spacious and recently renovated. Food and drink offerings and service were less than most Marriotts in Germany. There are only peanuts and gummy candies during the day. Plus water (if someone has refilled it, it was empty almost as often as full), coffee and a soda fountain with Pepsi products. Evening cocktail hour adds juices, wines and beer, NO ice brought in for the sodas (we did flag someone down the first night and ask for it, it was brought about half an hour later, but the staff seem so busy we didn't feel comforatble asking again). Lounge staff never greet guests or offer any service, only come to refill food or drinks in the self serve area or bus tables from time to time. Snacks are defintely that, snacks, most Marriott lounges you can make a light meal out of the offerings, not this one (ironic given how little other meal options are nearby). The main offering was soup nightly (plus a VERY small salad and cheses selection and one meat based starter each night). The soup alternated between cauliflower or potato nightly. The gym is large and a highlight of the property. Lots of equipment and all in good shape. Housekeeping is below expectations. Our room was missed one day, dirty glasses (all placed togehter on one dresser) were never removed (there were 14 at the end of the week), lotion not refilled, etc. However the major cleaning was done, and towels were actually left to be reused when we hung them up, which was nice. There was an ice bucket in the room but the only way to get ice was to call for room service. They really need to add an ice machine to the shop area like so many other marriotts in Germany are doing. The bed was confotable and the room fairly well layed out overall. One final gripe: the TVs are enclosed in a wood frame to keep people from plugging a device into them to stream. OK, I am sure too many people damage TVs doing that, BUT this hotel also fails to offer streaming, or log in options diretcly on the TV, etc. Most any good hotel these days finds a way to let you stream your content on the in room TV and lacking that, plus the only channels available being basic German ones, really felt like somthing was missing. Overall it is more good

GGuest UserGreat hotel. This time we stayed in the Junior Suite. The difference with the standard room is the wider bed (180 versus 160) and more square meters. It also includes a nespresso machine and complimentary coffee cups. All rooms have a mini bar and complementary drinks. (Daily refill). Our suite had a view on the forest. Great comfortable bed and quiet room. The hotel is located in a quiet environment. Keep in mind that the shower and the sink are in the same area as your bed. You have no privacy of a separate room. For us no problem, if privacy is however needed, someone will need to leave the room. Toilet is off course in a separate room. All rooms (full hotel) has free high speed internet. The hotel offers free parking (really enough space) and they even have 2 parking spots with chargers (type 2, AC chargers from Tesla). You need to request the charging in the hotel and the cost is booked on the room. Breakfast: one word, great. Fresh food, good quality. Fresh juice, coffee maker (normal, espresso, cappuccino, latte Macchiato, Ice coffee, …). Also healthy options are available and local (sometimes even self made) products. All persons working at the hotel are polity and really helpful. They will always try to help. The hotel is also pride on their ecological footprint. We will return. Yes there are cheaper hotels available but they do not offer the same complete package and quality for us. If a quiet, comfortable sleep, clean rooms and great breakfast are important, don’t hesitate.

GGuest UserExperience stay with camping retro feeling! Great idea (indoor camping with old living/rail cars, living cars, and even a cable gondol) to the smallest details lovely implemented, for example with suitable seats before the theme cars and decorations. Community sanitary facilities (as usual in the camping) are very well equipped and clean, in the toilet tract no mief and a lot of paper stock. Breakfast is available on a large built-in empore, also here original design details, it is relatively easy held, but absolutely sufficient (I actually missed only cooked eggs) and properly presented, Also is always checked whether something is missing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And lastly, the price-performance ratio is also true! If I need a night stay in the Bonn room again, I will be very happy to come back! Tip: Before booking, check whether the room and ”comfort” offers of the selected accommodation also meet their own requirements and physical requirements. For example, the old bed car sections are very closely connected, The beds are very narrow and when they are located with 2 people one must climb his bed per head (this was just the old bed cars). I had booked the department alone, I reached the place (I was used to ”tack garage” and isomate). :-)

GGuest UserWhat a pleasure! I love being pleasantly surprised. The hotel is clean and upscale right next to the Rhine. The reception desk is friendly and helpful. They were patient while I stumbled over my newly learned German. However they speak English as well. We had a double bed (with an extra bed for my daughter). It’s spacious enough for three. They have a wonderful hot shower with tons of water pressure. The maid service has been wonderful, the garage provides ample parking but be careful if you have a wide car or you will likely hit the sides as you enter or leave the garage. (Like most of the hotels in Germany- they are designed for small cars) The location is terrific, 10 min walk to the Zentrum. We feel so lucky to have made an excellent hotel decision. If we come back to Bonn, we are staying here!

I can't speak highly enough of the excellent and friendly service we received from the managers at this hotel. They went out of their way to accommodate us - 2 coachfuls of Scouts (83 people) for one night at 3 hours notice! They were very patient with the multiple requests for WiFi codes, help with vending machines etc, and the noise and mess that such a big group of kids inevitably brings. They even helped us order delivery pizza and let us use the dining room to eat it. On top of that, the rooms were clean and functional although basic. The showers were hot and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was very good...even marbled eggs decorated for Easter! I would stay here again if visiting the area or passing through and needing a pitstop.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite central and you can let the car stand well to start a variety of businesses. On the other streets are great restaurants where you can let the day sound well and delicious. This is one that must be used (more or less) anyway, since only the check-in is open at the hotel at night - and the drinking machine in the lobby! The rooms have come quite into the years, but they are convenient, cool and dry ;-) However, they are very bright - you feel sleeping ”on the hall”.. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Parking is actually only possible in the home deep garage.

On the house facade is the text read. Acora - Hotel and accommodation. ” This hotel we haven't yet met ... This three-storey hotel is compared to a residence where the entire living environment consists of a family house. Here in the Acora Hotel you can make a short holiday or even stay for a longer time. Montage workers seem to live here for a longer time...We have found here only young people ... For us, the holidaymakers, stay with breakfast is offered, what has been enough for us too. A deep garage is available and costs € 4 per day. The city area where the hotel is found is called Bonn - Tannenbusch, and is about 4 kilometres from the centre of Bonn. The motorway access is not far from the hotel...There is also the metro stop Bonn-Tannenbusch. Therefore the hotel is actually centrally located. We, were satisfied with the service as it was offered here. The only lack is that there is no seat in this building complex. We were satisfied guests. Rooms, breakfast, service and the price were good. Only the missing seat was a problem for us. Three floors with baggage that was too tough for me. From there we will probably not come back ... Who doesn't care about the missing chair, will find a priced alternative to the costly accommodation prices in Bonn for a hotel in Arcora Hotel. What I felt very good was in the staircase, on both sides of the stairs and climbs, the double handle that was present at the staircase as on the wall. Young people may not appreciate that we a little older, this device was found very useful and helpful ...
