We really enjoyed our first stay in Shaxi on my anniversary visit to Yunnan Province. Thanks to the fantastic service provided by Miss Yang and her incredible staff, we really enjoyed our two day stay. Originally we were only planning to stay one night but after a long trip to the nearby grottos, asked to extend one night which Miss Yang was kind enough to accommodate. This guest house/hotel is brand new and has many modern amenities including a hot water pot, refrigerator, free snacks and drinks and more. Everything was brand new and well taken care of and the staff was extremely helpful navigating us from parking to the hotel. The location is also very central to much of what Shaxi has to offer. The breakfast noodles were a real treat! We will stay here again next year.

It was a joy to wake up to the gorgeous view of ErHai offered by the bay window in our room, plus breakfast delivered to the door, each day. The room was clean, the hot water and water pressure were steady, and the bed was comfortable. Also really enjoyed using the tub by the window. Above all else, service was impeccable. The front desk was immensely helpful in providing advice for our plans on the day to day and very kindly helped to arrange for transport to our next stop at Lijiang. The only downsides are that it's a distance away from some of the popular tourist sites, but didi worked just fine for where we wanted to go. I believe the hotel will also help to book you a car if you need one. In all, my husband and I were really glad we chose to stay here and would be more than happy to return.

Travel with big families and lucky to choose the pullman hotel which has convenient locations, accessible to most of the attractions near the erhai lake. The hotel is very new with fabulous lake view to enjoy the erhai and also xing sheng bridge . We dined in twice for dinner at level 5 grand Chinese restaurant. The food quality is above average and price reasonable with additional 10% off for hotel guests.

I have always been paying attention to the brand of Jixiashan, and it really did not disappoint me. It was a very pleasant stay experience! From check-in to check-out, every detail makes people feel the caring service. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, quickly helped me with the formalities, and took the initiative to upgrade the room type, which was a surprise! The room is spacious and clean, the bedding is comfortable, and the facilities are complete. In particular, the water pressure and hot water in the bathroom are very stable, which washes away the fatigue of the day. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, only ten minutes away from the ancient town, and it is very convenient to travel. The most important thing is that the parking lot is right next to it, and parking is very convenient! The breakfast is rich in variety and the ingredients are fresh. I especially like the freshly cooked rice noodles, which are very local and taste great! In addition, the room service responds quickly, and the demands raised can be solved in time, which makes people feel at ease. Overall, both the hardware facilities and the service quality exceeded expectations, and the cost performance is extremely high. Next time I come to Shaxi Ancient Town, I will definitely choose here again! Highly recommended to other travelers, it deserves five-star praise!

The property is very close to one of the entrances into the old town, so it was very easy to alight the car and just walk over, as cars are not allowed in the old town. First impression of the property was great, as there was a very well maintained garden filled with flowering plants, right when you entered the doors. Eric and Joyce, the friendly and warm owners of this lovely place, were there to greet us too! Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, it was a breeze chatting and learning more about Shaxi from the two of them! This is especially convenient for tourists who are from SG, MY, who may prefer to communicate in English or Cantonese! Rooms were very clean and heaters were available. There is no air conditioning, but frankly, you will not require that at all! The main street of the old town is just a casual walk away, perhaps just 5 mins from the property. But along the way, you would certainly stop by many spots to have pictures taken as the entire place is so scenic! The houses, the vibes, the courtyards etc, everywhere you turn and look, it's just beautiful. There is no lack of places to dine at, once you are at the old town, so despite the fact that the property does not include food, you will never go hungry. All in all, it was a great experience and we would highly recommend anyone who visits Shaxi to stay over at this awesome property!

Great location in the old town. Room was clean, had enough amenities but the heater was not working. My room was on the 2nd floor overlooking their cafe but I felt the curtains did not provide enough privacy. Breakfast was a small buffet spread and it gets busy around 8am when many people check-out, so there was a wait for a clean table. Guests bring outside food which is not appropriate, in my opinion, but it might be a local custom.

First impression count. staff was very helpful with the lunggage during check-in and check-out. Room bed was very comfortable and the washroom hygiene was well maintained. spacious enough for 3 large lunggages to open up with walking space. We also enjoyed the guidance on foods, sightseeing and current festive event that started on 12th april from the staffs. Thank you and very much appreciated the warm hospitality thoughout our stay. For the location, it was perfect! A short 2min walk to Ancient city South Gate.

My place of residence, my heart and dreams are at peace. It was a very good living experience in Shaxi. The yard of the B&B is very beautiful, with dense trees and lively little fish in the pond. It is really comfortable to lean on the recliner and drink tea. You can also go to the observation deck on the second floor to see the mountains in the distance and the roofs with ethnic characteristics. The room retains the original wooden beam structure of the building. Open the wooden door and lie on the bed, looking at the mountains in the distance, and there is only the word ”comfortable” in my heart. A series of items such as makeup mirrors, hairbands and hairbands prepared in the room feel the care of the B&B. The ladies in the store are very nice. They made coffee for me and recommended delicious barbecue. The afternoon tea and breakfast prepared by the sister in the store are also delicious. The location of the B&B is very advantageous. It is very close to the ancient theater and Yujin Bridge, and it is also very convenient to the parking lot. Next time I come to Shaxi, I must stay again!

We also thoroughly enjoyed the resort’s facilities, well-maintained, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals made with fresh, local ingredients. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a peaceful retreat, Ting Hua Island Garden Resort is a destination that won’t disappoint. We left with beautiful memories and a strong desire to return. Highly recommended!

Our room was not well cleaned. Hairs all over the place, in the bathroom, around the pilars and even on the table on the sofa. Very dusty. Even found fake eyelashes in the bathroom, that were not ours. When confronting the staff about these issues they were immediately willing to give us another room, upon taking us there and inspecting the room, we found again hairs in the bathroom of the new room. Despite the hygiene not being what it’s supposed to be, the guys at reception were very willing, informative and helpfull, they came to pick us up from the airport and helped us with our luggage. The potential is there, they just need to top up their cleaning game. The room and courtyard in itself are magical, the hygiene unfortunately isn’t.
