The Hotel Fasano in Belo Horizonte, with its inimitable style emblematic of the Fasano chain, sits elegantly within the city, a beacon of refined hospitality. The reception, graced by friendly and charming staff, occasionally speaking German, is a delight. The diversity among the staff is a refreshing sight, adding to the hotel’s charm; the presence of a receptionist adorned with numerous tattoos was a particularly cool touch. The concierge service is exceedingly diligent and dedicated, a testament to the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction. They provided us with complimentary concert tickets, allowing us to enjoy a splendid evening filled with music. The restaurant, known for its excellence, operates with impressive efficiency. The waitstaff are alert and provide exceptional service, though the presence of multiple restaurant managers, or Chefs de Service, occasionally obstructs the flow. While the cuisine is commendable, the breakfast service is notably slow. The rooms are immaculate and spacious, offering a comfortable retreat. However, the lack of razors and the inconsistent replenishment of soap were minor inconveniences. Despite these small flaws, the hotel remains a magnificent and impressive establishment. Our stay was beautiful and restful, a testament to the high standards of the Fasano experience.

(English below.) This hotel calls its rooms ”apartments”, but just adding a kitchen sink doesn't turn a hotel room into an apartment. There is not even a functional fridge, just a wine cooler that chills your beverages to 50ºF or so. If you bring special food or fruit prepared for your kids, everything will spoil overnight. No microwave, no coffee maker, so you need to depend on the super expensive room service for everything. So the ”Suites” name is untrue, no way to sugar coat it. There isn't even a free ice machine to be found anywhere, so just a bucket of ice costs R$16,50 by way of room service, which is 10% of the price we paid for a night! When reminded that they are falling short of international standards, the management prefers to argue and bicker and ”be right at all cost” instead of scooping a bucket of ice for free and create good will. At night the hotel is understaffed, but the one employee who holds it all together is trying really hard to make everyone happy. The breakfast is opulent, the place is very clean, but overall forcing the outsourced bar/restaurant on the guest for every little thing, is annoying. If you travel with kids, and expect some autonomy in your ”suite”, so you can at least keep some food cold and heat it up in a microwave, and coffee up in the morning without schlepping downstairs with the kids, you will not get that here. It's an ok budget hotel of ”Ibis” or ”Motel 6” quality, but nothing more. And the deceptive ”Suites” name and the management's argumentativeness really doesn't make me want to come back.

DDrumondI went there on Valentine's Day and found that the whole hotel is in order, especially on such anniversaries. Very cost-effective and worth it! The rich and varied breakfast makes the daily price more valuable. The room is also very nice. I just missed a heated swimming pool because the pool area is cool, but it is impossible to get in, it's too cold! For BH hotels, heating will be a big difference.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the centre of Belo Horizonte and has very old accommodation. The reception service is a little misguided. The room we were was a spacious, good bed, old air conditioning and noisy. The bathroom was also with good room and a good shower, but the water was passed through the door and flooded the bathroom.
We stayed for almost ten long days in this hotel, where beds are uncomfortable and the elevators are always packed. The front desk staff is rude and will show you an attitude anytime you stop by to ask for help. During the checkout, they tried to charge us for breakfast on a day that we were actually in another city in Brazil. I had to show them the boarding passes to prove that we could not eat in the hotel because we were not in Belo Horizonte that day. They have a huge conference center that is always booked. Good luck trying to get a cab in front of the hotel. You will have to find space between the buses parked in front of the front entrance. Additionally, this hotel is on a hectic road, and the windows are not noise-canceling. Therefore, the rooms are very noisy. There is a Japanese restaurant on the premise where the service is equally lame, and the food sucks. We did not pass the appetizer because the waiter brought us the wrong beer and refused to take it back, and the tempura was disgusting. The manager is too lazy to fix that mess because they get enough money with the conferences. We are not coming back for sure!!
PPedro GustavoGreat location.
Ibis Savassi is close to the customers I usually visit, also having restaurants and shopping mall not far from it.
A convenient stay.
I just believe Ibis should reward frequent guests; but they don’t; simply they do not care anymore.

GGuest UserWater is an essential item that is extremely expensive, out of the ordinary. Bad pillows, good bed, good room space, small bathroom. Great breakfast! Complimentary and good garage. We won't be back.
The best hotel in BH, fair price, service is of excellent quality, large rooms and well above the average of all the hotels I've ever been, leisure area and academy are excellent. The restaurant is perfect, I'm always very well served by the Fabio (owner) and by Gleyson, recommended to anyone.

GGuest User Ana Luuisa Asantos is a special lady who create golden memories. She is able to speak with us in English and translate for us. It is the best hotel and service excellence. The team is super good and ensuring that we feel at home away from home. Ana louisa is a superstart creating memories for all of us and collegues from Africa De soul. Smiling and taking time to support us. Keep up the good work. you are a star.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself is very good, staff are attentive, the cleaning of the site is excellent, the location was great for what my boyfriend and I needed and breakfast had plenty of choices than eating and quality.
The only thing I have to complain is that I left a bedroom with a couple bed and I was provided a bedroom with two single beds, I understand that due to the time I check in there were no more rooms available, But, as I had made the reservation and when I left the luggage at the reception, I hoped that when I arrived the room I reserved was available.
AAnonymous UserVery warm and friendly service from the receptionists. Small rooms, but nothing to bother for short stays or just overnight.
Entrance to the car park on the side, with an elevator attached to the rooms.
The only caveat is regarding the procedures for ”buying” the entrance to the breakfast, which in the way that it is carried out ended up generating a considerable queue and a bit of turmoil at the reception.
